tuesday - june twenty, two thousand - 10:49am
paul read my page yesterday and decided it was a cry to spice up my life.... so he surprized me last night by showing up late and giving me a massage with oils.... (among other things) - it probably doesn't sound all that exciting to the rest of you, but it was my very first booty call (as paul calls it) - so i thought it was great.
a girlfriend of mine is looking for an apartment for her and her boyfriend.... i told her i might be interested in subleasing mine to her. my sense of reason is telling me that i should move in with paul sooner... i mean, it's ridiculous, i'm spending $510 a month in rent, more in gas for the drive to work, and i'm adding miles onto my car lease that will eventually cost me - in order to get a $300 deposit back eventually. doesn't really make sense. i'm thinking of putting in my notice anyway, even if my friend doesn't want to sublease it 'til the end of my lease.. plus, if i do that, i can move in the summer when it's nice versus waiting until october when it could very easily be rainy. hopefully losing my deposit would be my only penalty. i'll just tell the leasing agent i'm getting married or something, then she'll be happy for me, and want to help me out.
i'm going to lunch today with a mutual friend of mine and mary's - joe..... i'm a little nervous about it because i think he invited me to get the scoop on mary and her new boyfriend from last friday - paul and i think he's secretly in love with her. i really don't want to get in the middle of it... i've decided if he brings it up, i'll just tell him that i don't want to get involved. hopefully he won't be offended. i could be wrong, he may just want to have lunch with me 'cuz we're friends, i guess the timing of it is what's got me suspicious. we'll see.
my fishtank is being overrun with snails - i have at least 5 now, and they grow so fast! they double in size every couple of days when they're babies.... once they reach about a quarter of an inch the growth slows... i wonder how big they'll get. paul is bugging me to give him a couple for his bowl - but i'm nervous that they won't do as well in a non aerated place - plus his fish is vicious. he's used to eating live ants and other bugs that paul catches outside.... i don't see any reason why he wouldn't attack a little snail the same way. of course, if he ate it, he'd probably get a serious case of indigestion.
victoria's secret is having their semi-annual sale right now. it's getting ridiculous - i already have too many bras and panties, but it's like i'm addicted. paul got me hooked on matching sets. it's worse than when i worked in the lingerie department at younkers in iowa - and it was bad then... i worked in the department for chrissake - i couldn't help myself. now, i just want new and exciting things to wear for paul all the time. i know, probably more info than you care to know, right?
