it is my conclusion that whenever i wear my lavendar perfume, i have a good day...i'm going to have to get more of that stuff.

had wine for lunch today...i do that from time to time, now i'm sleepy...but that's okay, the agency's been so slow. i've been spending all my days online. p and i went and looked at puppies after lunch. he lives in a condo that he owns and he can get a small or mid-sized dog if the committee approves it. p is the president of the condo association, and it's brought him nothing but hassle 'til now...maybe he'll get a little perk out of it for a change.

my fish are still alive, and seem to be happy - - at least as happy as a fish can seem. they're swimming around actively, and they eat like pigs - that's always a good sign.

turns out my brother, Dan is going to have to come here for a conference in april. he asked if he and his collegue can stay at my place one night...i said sure, and i'm excited to see him, but i think i'd better get all the hard liquor out of my apt before he arrives. he seems to have trouble when he drinks hard alcohol. if he sticks with beer, he's pretty much okay, but he could get out of hand if he starts drinking "real" drinks. i'm a little nervous about it.

have i mentioned lately how much i HATE MY HAIR! i cut it all off to look like Courtney Thorne Smith's right before p and i went to mexico last month, and it was supposed to make my life easier, but it sure as hell hasn't. about 1 day out of 10, i actually like the way it looks. but, the problem is, i don't know how to fix it so i'll like it. indie is my hairdresser, and i hate telling her when i don't like a cut she gives me, so i haven't said anything. i think i've actually been avoiding talking to her because of it.

and the funny thing about this little blurb, is that i actually like the way it looks today...and i'm hoping i can duplicate it...but the reason  why i'm mentioning it, is because i had to wet my head this morning and start over...which is highly ironic considering i got the haircut in the first place to become lower-maintenance, not the other way around.
