it's been a hard couple of days. p and i are arguing a lot...i'm hoping things will get a little easier. we usually get along unbelievably well.

it's been incredibly slow at work...which usually drives me nuts, but lately i'm okay with it because i like to work on my site. it's easier here at work then at home, because everything moves so much faster. i've decided that i'm going to have a daily link that will be indicated by this red question mark. it will go to a joke, a quote, a fact, an unbelievable pic, or some other interesting item. check it out....

i got some new fish yesterday. i have a 2-gallon acquarium on my desk at work, and i'm afraid i've gone through quite a few fish. i don't know what the problem is...i've read all these fish sites to learn all about how to treat different species of fish...and i spoil the shit out of them...but they continue to die on me.

my latest was a beautiful blue and red betta that started acting sluggish two months after i bought him...so i got some antibiotics to put in his water and the next day he died. i know i didn't put the wrong amount in...i check it very carefully...i think i was just too late. so, i just got three little danios--a pearl one and two long-fins...i thought i was getting three long-fins, but the lady at the fish store accidentally netted a pearl one by mistake, and i didn't notice until i got them back to work. they seem to be doing fine...for now.

i've been thinking about getting a pet for at home...but i don't know what to get. i always had hamsters when i was a kid...but i think i want something a little bigger, that i can let run around in the apartment. i was talking about getting a ferret yesterday, but p thinks they're too smelly. i've heard that, but i would think if you keep everything cleaned up it would be okay...i don't know. maybe i'll get something cool like a ghecko. (i'm not sure if that's how you spell it)

course, i'm gonna have to wait until i have two nickels to rub together...who knows how long that'll be.
