well - i got one comment on my new design..... from the only person who ever writes me about my page. (thanks sam) he said he likes it much more than the other one - more me, he said. i have to agree.
i started tanning on monday, and i went two days in a row and got zip... absolutely nothing, not even a freckle. so on the third day i asked if they could put me in a better bed - bad idea! i'm still red today and that was wednesday. this is the last time i go to a salon for tanning.... they just don't keep up with their beds as well as an all-tanning place.... they moniter the hours and stuff better.
so i was a good girl and went to the club with amie wednesday night... i even worked really hard! we were on the bike and my target heart rate was, like 164 or something - i couldn't get it below 172 - man, am i out of shape. but i kept it up for 20 minutes, and then i did a 10 minute cooldown on the treadmill after that. i was sweatin'! then we went around and did weights for the arms. i felt like i worked really hard - i was proud of myself. after that we went in the steamroom - but my burned body couldn't handle the heat. i'm anxious to try it again when i'm not fried though. it was pretty cool - you couldn't see a foot in front of you with all the steam!
so, mary invited me to go to this 'girl's night out' gig that she's been doing for 6 years, or something like that. i don't know anybody but her - but she says everybody is really warm and welcoming to the new girls. they get three hotel rooms in stillwater and everybody goes out bar-hopping all night. there are a couple of pregnant women that drive all the drunks around. should be a good time.
i have to go buy a sleeping-bag during lunch today cuz i'll probably be sleeping on the floor and i didn't want to bring a big bulky comforter or something. i've been wanting to start gathering up some camping gear anyway. i only have a cooler. i love to go camping, but randy took everything in the divorce. we had two tents and sleeping bags and stuff, i'd bet money that he hasn't even used them since we got separated. oh well - this way i'll have all my own stuff. oh, i forgot i have one of those collapsing chairs that goes in a bag too.
