i just wrote a whole entire entry - and my browser crashed before i had a chance to save it...god that sucks!  well, let's try this one again...

we got a lot done at paul's apartment this weekend...we painted his bedroom, and tore up the carpet. today at lunch we're going to go look at carpet to replace it. we bought the paint for the bathroom and moved his new bed in. things are really starting to look good. i think p's got the bug more now too, once you start seeing the changes it's hard not to get excited.

we saw this horrible car accident yesterday. we were driving to the hardware store and had to go over a bridge that overlooks the highway....a van was smashed head-on into the 4-5 foot high  median. his front end was pushed in so far that they couldn't get the driver out. the fire rescue was there trying to free him...it was really spooky to see up close.

oh, i almost forgot....guess what caused the accident??? some idiot didn't secure the ladder he was transporting well enough, so it came off his car, and this poor guy in the van swerved to miss it out of instinct. stupid people really suck.

we went to this german bar on saturday for a friend's birthday. i'd never been there before...so it was fun to see it. paul was telling me about this snuff that gets passed around and wondered if i might try it....well, when i saw it, i didn't think i could handle sniffing something up my nose...i guess i just have a thing about that. anyway, everybody was just hounding me to death to do it....until i finally just yelling "NO - i don't want to do it!" they left me alone after that, but it made me feel stupid like i was making a big deal out of nothing.....but if there's anything i've learned it's not to let people pressure you into doing something you're not comfortable with. the girl who's birthday it was actually apologized to me at the monday morning meeting today. so that was nice.

i signed up for this pottery class about a week ago...and at the time there weren't enough people registered for it....the lady said she'd let me know if it's going to be held, but i didn't have to pay until then. well, i'm anxiously awaiting her call, because if they don't have it i want to sign up for one of the other classes. maybe i should call today and find out.
