I just completed reading a book "In My Own Words"- quotes from Mother Teresa . It really is an inspiring book. Such love that Mother Teresa showed for Christ. She really lived in grace of God. I feel so touched by her love. Love for Christ and Love for the poorest of the poor, the dying, the sick and anyone.
Why did she devote herself so much for these people unrelated to her? These words from the Bible...
Matt 25:40,45
And the king will say to them in reply, 'Amen, I say to you, whatever you did for one of these least brothers of mine, you did for me.'
He(Jesus) will answer them, 'Amen, I say to you, what you did not do for one of these least ones, you did not do for me.'
Someone told Mother Teresa "I would never touch a leper for a million dollars." and Mother Teresa replied him, "I wouldn't do it for two. But I gladly do it for Christ."
Mother Teresa is one of my heroines. Will I ever show love and courage such as hers?
