1) What is more important to show compassion and mercy or to follow the rules and why?

Compassion and Mercy are more important than rules. Rules are to teach people who have not learned Compassion and Mercy on how to behave. Compassion and Mercy are the things that Jesus preached most. It is summed up in the 2nd Greatest Commandment of Jesus. As long as the intention of an act is always out of true love and mercy, God will forgive the person, even if the person may have broken rules in his act. Rules are nevertheless important. They help a person to know in the mind, what is the best way to act. Compassion and Mercy are of the Heart, and Rules are of the Mind. God judges the Heart, not the Mind.

2) How much do you actually spend with God in your daily life? (Sundays don't count)

I go to Church to worship in the Mass at least twice a week. Sometimes 3 times a week. I try to dedicate little little actions to God daily. (Doesn't include Bible study time, cos Bible study is intellectual, not so spiritual)

3) If you were in Afganistan would be arrested for sharing your faith?

Probably so, being Christian.

4) Do you start each Morning in prayer?

Yes. A very short one.

5) What is the greatest example of persecution for your faith have you been subjected to?

I lost count of the number of people who have abused me in irc, messageboards etc after knowing that I am a Catholic. (Outside internet, few people persecute me straight in the face. I also know my Protestant friends distrust Catholicism as a valid Christianity though they don't say it in my face.

6) What do you believe God's very nature is, and how does that affect your conduct?

Loving. Fair. Chastises gently. Loyal. Patient. Awesome! I turn to him for support, and gives him my greatest reverence.

7) Do you really believe that we are living in the "Last Days"?

No. But I don't believ that we are NOT in the Last Days either. Jesus himself said in the Scriptures that Judgement Day will come like a thief in the night. I don't waste my time trying to guess when are the Last Days. What is most important is that we don't be like the servant who was caught unprepared when the Master suddenly showed up.

8) If you were to ask unbelievers, how would they rate you in the following? (Scale of 1-10)

Integrity = 8

Witness = 7

Conduct = 8

Consistency= 7

9) What are your God given gift(s) and how are you using them?

I think my gift is that I am always eager to learn. My thirst for knowledge. I am a jack of all trades (but master of none). I know music, art, biology, html, Bible, general Christianity. I love to read. I just set up a little personal website for Catholicism. I hope to be in a music ministry when the opportunity arises. Currently I try to contribute the best I can in terms of whatever knowledge I have to friends, and in Bible Study groups. I dont' know what other gifts i may have.

10) What do you believe is the key to Evangelism in this modern age?

Living the Word of God. What good is Studying the Word, Knowing the Word and Preaching the Word, if you do not LIVE the Word??? People are most inspired and convinced when they see that you practise what you preach. Be Christlike when evangelising. People do not just wnat to hear the Word of God, they want to see Christ in you.
