The Franks lived in an apartment building on the other side of this tall building. The Delphi tea room was also on this street: one of the few eateries that Jews could go to during the German occupation. At the time, the street here was called the Daniel Willinkplein but today it is the Victorieplein. (AF:BTD p. 24 and 43 has other photos including this landmark.)
