These (abstracted) movies sort of bring Anne to life. Do you want to see more and more of Anne and her surroundings? Want to find out all you can about all the details of her life? That sort of lets her live on. Better ways to see Anne sort of live on may be for us to re-read her diary and to apply our own thoughts to our own diaries or journals.
