Dear Barrister Coker,

I am not pleased with the turn of events at your end. Your suggestion that I take on a false identity for the purpose of fooling Western Union is most disturbing. I thought I made it clear that I could face legal action if I am discovered to be dealing with this institution due to the numerous restrictions regarding business ethics and conflict of interest. I have tried Barrister Graham's phone at +234-803-6696260 and I only get a static line. [some parachutist talk]

Additionally I am nervous about Unionbank's desire to use a bank in Ivory Coast. Abidjan has been in political turmoil for some time now and is not stable enough to handle such a transaction without problems. I rather think that Nigeria is a better place for this business. This sudden change makes me think that there is some funny business going on. I am going to need some reassurance that the fund has not been touched and this whole thing can proceed hitch-free.

I am going to need you to send me 100 Nairas in cash before I send you any money if my faith is to be restored. This whole thing could be a set-up by the US Government to entrap me into something. When I am satisfied that this deal is real then I will send you your fee via DHL or Federal Express.

I need you to call me at my Seattle number xxx-xxx-xxxx between the hours of 9am and 7pm. I think this matter is most urgent. If you get a message, do not give up. Just speak your name slowly and state your business and the call will be routed to my private phone and I will give this matter the highest priority even if I am in a meeting.

I want this deal to work so please take this seriously.

Sincerely,

David Brian Cooper
