Rob: It is dark in the Temple. I can see the constellations through the windows. A cool breeze blows through the Temple. At the centre of the altar is half of a translucent sphere. It is large enough for two hands. A faint light glows from it. I no longer feel solid. It is as if I had shed my body. I float out through the ceiling.

Barry: I follow. I can see Orion, with hunting dogs at his feet. Above him is the constellation of the bull. Sirius shines bright at his feet. The wind is cool, almost biting.

Rob: I see a page with a list of names in columns. I think that its a list of those that have previously have mastered air, a roll of honour. Paralda, please send us a guide.

Barry: I feel that we are reaching the end of our time in Air. This or the next journey will show our individual lesson for this element. I hear the sound of a horn carried on the North wind, and am drawn in that direction.

Rob: And the winds of change blow and all is blown before it. Existing structures are scattered to the four winds. When the winds settle, rebuilding takes place. Grain is thrown into the air and the chaff is blown away. I dont think that we are ready for fire though.

Barry: Im riding on a chariot pulled by two jet black stallions, carried over a bitter cold windswept plain. It is driven by a raven haired woman. Her charcoal grey cloak sweeps out behind her. A raven brooch is at her throat. She carries the power of the North wind. She seeks out the weak and the old which she sweeps away. Her breath blows the flesh from the bones. She lives in a hut in a windswept pine forest. The ruins of a vast temple are scattered around. Her hut is six sided, with four doors that are covered in animal skins.

Rob: I am at the base of a small four sided pyramid. I climb within. It is very quiet. I sit and become empty in the hope that I will draw forth the God.

Barry: She leads me inside. A dwarf with a tunic is inside. She has two purposes. She guards childbirth and the new. She destroys the old. Her voice can wail like a banshee. In the centre of the room is a smoky fire. The dwarf beats the drums which hang on the wall. The woman closes my eyes, she blows up my nose, ice cold breath. I do not fear her, though she can be terrible. She just rids old and unwanted luggage.

Rob: Those who sit in a pyramid are charged by it. It was to preserve the bodies of the Egyptian Kings. Energies from the stars fill the earth. If you put a wire between the positive and negative terminals of a battery, it will grow hot and quickly drain the battery. The natural state is for energy to be freely available and yet I am not charged. I am like a battery running slow, out of energy because Im short circuited. Its a mess, too much to resolve in one go. Its wrong to attempt some sort of resolution.

Barry: The woman has released my wild eagle within me. It flies free. It is like the Egyptian winged sun symbol. The sun is released and is free to fly. It doesnt know yet where to fly without the help of the woman. I cant be free of the earth and water which suck me to the ground.

Rob: I see the Kestrel. Transfer your consciousness to the bird and you will see the way out.

Barry: The kestrel sees only the winged sun. It acts as a draw to the centre, the apex of a cone of power, almost a doorway itself.

Rob: Within the pyramid is a silence like that of Harpocrates. A wall of silence.

Barry: The silence is guarded by the base of a cage. Only by leaving behind the body will the silence be gained.

Rob: I am being drawn up to the apex, it wails. There is a charge and the spirit is spat out into the universe.

Barry: I can see other structures, other towers and symbols. The spirit can directly communicate by the symbols and towers. It feels like a vast web. The charges are more at each contact.

Rob: What is going on outside is not as important as what is going on inside.

Barry: I feel pulled back into the body by the hand of the woman.

Rob: I am pulled back down to the pyramid.

Barry: I thank the lady, and pull back the animal skins.
