o Centenary of the Birth of Rizal Series a five-stamp series issued from June to December, 1961.

  • Set I features four stamps depicting Rizal as a student, his birthplace, with his parents, and in Madrid, Spain.
  • Set II features a single issue with the execution of Rizal in Bagumbayan, [now Luneta] Manila.
  • o Famous Filipinos Series, the second series of Famous Filipinos consisting of 12 Definitives issued between 1962 to 1969, and seven Official stamps ( overprinted "G.O" for "Gawaing Opisyal") issued from 1962 to 1964.

  • Set I features Apolinario Mabini, see surcharged stamp issued on March 12, 1963.
  • Set II features Jose Rizal in coat, see also surcharged stamp issued on February 19, 1963. Official stamp was also issued.
  • Set III features Raja Soliman. Official stamps was also issued.
  • Set IV features Emilio Jacinto.
  • Set V features Father Jose Burgos. Official stamps was also issued.
  • Set VI features Cayetano Arellano. Official stamps was also issued, see surcharged stamp issued on A1972E15 with "G.O." Deleted
  • Set VII features Manuel L. Quezon.
  • Set VIII features Marcelo H. del Pilar. Official stamps was also issued.
  • Set IX features Lapu-lapu. Official stamps was also issued.
  • Set X features Sergio Osmeña.
  • Set XI features Jose Rizal in Barong Tagalog. With 80 million initially printed, 50 million were overprinted on August 10, 1967 and and about 10 million used for Provisional Surcharges issued on April 30, 1970. Some stamps were also used for the Campaign Against Smuggling issued on May 01, 1966, which were subsequently surcharged on stamps was also issued. June 04, 1973. Official stamps was also issued.
  • Set XII features Jose Maria Panganiban
  • o Presidential Credo Series consists of eights sets [two stamps each] issued from 1963 to 1973.

  • A1963G04 features Manuel Roxas, surcharged for the Asia-Pacific Scout Conference stamps issued on November 13, 1972.
  • Set II features Ramon Magsaysay, surcharged on September 29, 1972.
  • Set III features Elpidio Quirino, surcharged on March 08, 1968 and for the Asia-Pacific Scout Conference stamps issued on November 13, 1972.
  • Set IV features Emilio Aguinaldo, surcharged on May 29, 1972.
  • Set V features Jose P. Laurel, surcharged on March 08, 1968.
  • Set VI features Manuel Quezon.
  • Set VII features Sergio Osmeña.
  • Set VIII features Carlos Garcia.
  • o Taal Volcano Eruption Series, issued to help raise funds for the victims of the 1965 Taal Volcano eruption through Republic Act No. 4665 which provided that all airmail matters to foreign countries be affixed with these stamps.

  • Set I features a 70s airmail stamp.
  • set II features a 70s airmail stamp.
  • o Heliographed Series this is not listed as a series in either Scott's or Dr. Ngo's catalogs. The series consist of 24 [four per set] stamps heliographed by the Government Printing Bureau, Japan.

  • Musical Instruments features the kudyapi, luday, kulintangan, and subing instruments.
  • Philippine Animals features the tarsier, tamaraw, carabao, and mouse deer.
  • Philippine Butterflies features the common birdwing, the tailed jay, red helen and birdwing butterflies.
  • Seashells features the scaled tridacna, Royal Spiny Oyster, Venus comb, and Glory of the Sea cone.
  • Philippine Fishes features the Parrot-fish [Lacepede], Sunburst butterflyfish [Bloch], Moorish idol [Linneaus], and the airmail stamp [Gunther].
  • Archeological Discoveries features the Manunggul Burial jar, the Ngipet Duldug cave ritual earthenware vessel, Metal Age chalice and a 15th century earthenware vessel.
