I am extremely proud to welcome you to the fourth Fall Breeder's
Classic Sale. This sale has experienced explosive growth. The 1998 consignments
are more than double that of 1997, to approximately ninety horses spread
evenly between all categories. Without a doubt, this is the largest sale
of registered Warmblood horses in Canada to date.
We are especially happy to have our American friends attend. Six
of our previous offerings are enjoying success across the boarder, where
a strong American dollar results in over 30% increase in buying power.
With such an increase in numbers there will be a broad selection of young
and developing Warmblood horses to match every buyer's needs.
The strong support of our breeders is not only reflected by the increased
consignments each year; it is also seen in the constantly improving quality
as well. A sale such as this requires satisfied buyers and loyal consignors.
Several horses from the first three sales have already had noteworthy success
in eventing, hunter, jumper and dressage competition. The quality, pedigree,
and performance is present here, and that means buyer satisfaction.
I believe this sale can meet all our expectations, consignors and
buyers alike. More than ever this sale is and will continue to be the place
where the Warmblood market comes together. If you look closely at the selection
of quality horses, I am sure you will find the right horse for you.
