Sunday

We alighted at McCalister Road, and walked to a open-air hawker centre along the road. The area covered actually was quite big- about 20 by 40 metres (roughly)- with stalls forming broken perimeters along the McCalister Road and on the sides. The courtyard thus formed became the place where people ate- sitting on red plastic chairs around white round tables. We ordered laksa, char kway-teow, fried chicken wings, fish porridge and chilli stingray. Good meal.

A late dinner...

After the meal, we browsed briefly at a couple of roadside stalls, selling handmade figurines on sticks, and fruits, among other things.

As for going back, we spotted a couple of taxis opposite a hotel and were finally ferried back to our apartment.

As it was late (I can't even remember what they showed on TV that night), we dropped off to sleep easily... thus ended our Sunday in Penang.
