INQUISITION is an arts/literature webzine which will present works from a wide range of subject matter and will explore the dialogue and nature of art through the personal experience of the individual. INQUISITION is for anyone who feels the urge to ask questions from the universe, for those who do not live in the dark.

Welcome to my Inquisition web-zine. Many changes can be expected as I play around with it and add content. Content will be added part by part and the different sections outlined above and to the side will become active in days to come. I appreciate any feedback on this site, so please feel free to e-mail me with any comments at [email protected]

We want your stuff! Submit your art, poetry, short fiction, essays and music. The guidelines for submissions have been posted.

10/6/99: So what's new with INQUISITION? Patience, my friends: Things are coming. I'm preparing a preview of the films I'm looking forward to watching this Fall. Reviews of several movies and other media releases. Expect to see reviews of older films by famous directors; films from around the world and through the decades of cinema. This Friday I will publish one of my own poems in this space. More is in the works but won't ruin the surprise by talking about it.

Now you got a reason to keep checking here in the weeks ahead. I confess my schedule's very hectic and haven't updated the site daily--perhaps an update a day is too much for me at the moment. I'll see what develops.

Please, I urge you to send me your work! If you're scribbling poetry on paper napkins, crafting that precious short story, pouring out your soul on a personal essay or creating visionary computer art--Send me the stuff! This site for the time being is a labor of love and can't afford to pay anyone for the stuff...but it will get work shown, read by anybody out there and dialogue started. It will get your work, and yourself, to interact and reach people from all over who appreciate the fascinating essence of all art. I want to hear from you, whoever you're.

     10/7/99: Thursday.Simply.Street Slang!:

"Brotha', that ghetto bird be comin' around and I be so faced! This' dope. Dog, look at tha' girl's onion! Ohh noo, ohh noo--That's her boy right there--That Golf Pimp!!"

I don't believe

A little bit of love

Came through the tv

This summer of love.

10/8/99: It's been a while since I put up one of my own poems. Fascinating impressions from this past summer prompted me to write this poem: Summer Of Love. Everybody have a great weekend!

10/11/99: I hope everyone has had a great weekend. I have written a little something about the purpose of this site, a sort of mission statement. I've become very interested in steering INQUISITION to explore the individual, personalized experience of art. Read the statement to find out more.

Look closer...this could be the best film of the year.

10/20/99: See it once. See it twice. It's up to you but you must see it: American Beauty--an instantaneous masterpiece and at the top of the heap for best film of the year.

10/25/99: Nine months of Hunger. Three months of Gluttony: Check out my preview of the films opening this fall. Looks like the millenium will be ending in style, at least in terms of film art. Here are some of the potentially great titles:
