Duo slowly crawled out of bed once all the noise from the other room died down and slinked across the floor. He was damn curious to know exactly what it was that Trowa *did* to Heero. Sure, it'd been a couple hours, but that just meant he could make breakfast after he sated his curiosity. Duo glanced around the hallway to be sure it was empty and slowly opened the door he heard all the noise from. His eyes led him around the doorframe, and he didn't push it any further until he determined he hadn't been noticed.

Trowa remained with his back to the door but slowly half opened his eyes as he heard it open. He silently cursed remembering that he had tossed Heero's gun to the floor just hours before. He cursed again as Heero was draped around him, and he wouldn't be able to move without waking him. It never once occurred to Trowa that maybe the blue-eyed boy wasn't asleep at all.

Duo slowly moved into the room. He never thought that Heero could be so *loud.* So had Trowa killed him or what? Duo stepped into the room, slowly circling around the bed and cursed as his foot landed on the now cold gun. Then he blushed red, praying that neither was awake. *Why* hadn't he remembered to put anything on? Trowa continued to pretend he was asleep until he could figure out what this intruder wanted. He heard a small clunk; the intruder must have tripped over Heero's gun. Trowa tensed in preparation to spring at the intruder, unfamiliar with the change in Duo's footsteps.

"Damn it." The mutter is barely audible as Duo tried to regain his equilibrium from when the gun slid. Oh, waking these two up while he was nude would be a very bad thing. He had no idea what Wufei would do if he saw that. Trowa sprang up, throwing back the covers after hearing the curse, not caring if Heero awoke now and leaped across the room to grab Duo in a flying tackle. Trowa was still nude, and he also still hadn't connected that it was Duo he was flying at.

Duo, being used to this happening when he woke certain people, saw the movement and ducked aside. *Trowa could hit the floor for all he cared damn it!*

Trowa hit the floor face first and cursed. He got the wind knocked out of him, but luckily landed close to Heero's gun and picked it up and pointed it at mysterious intruder, who happened to be a delightfully nude, not to mention mortified, Duo. "Duo?"

Duo blinked back, ducking behind the desk so his bits weren't showing. "No shit man. You weren't supposed to wake up!" A bright blush was on his upper chest and cheeks. *He was the stealthy one! Oh this was just too humiliating.*

"What the fuck are you doing in here?" Trowa was trying feverently to calm his heart rate. "First, you kick me out of my room, then come to ambush me?" Trowa took a deep breath and sat up slowly from his laying position and rested the gun back on the floor, knowing that the imagined threat was no longer there. He sighed loudly before rubbing his eyes. "Shit. What time is it?" He looked off to the window, where the first rays of day were coming through, although it was still dark in the room.

"I wanted to see what you did to Heero." Duo moved a little further around the desk, pressing himself up against the wall. "It's about four am."

"What!?" Trowa's whisper was more of a shout and he shivered as the cold finally caught up to him.

Heero blinked as soon as he felt Trowa leave the bed, but knew the voice well enough he wasn't worried. Instead he just rolled over to watch the nude confrontation. *This should prove interesting.*

"He's *loud.* I was worried you were killing the boy!" Duo glanced over, noting the object of discussion. "You okay man? He's touching your gun! And it was on the floor! Things really have changed around here haven't they?"

Heero looked over at Trowa when Duo mentioned the boy had his gun and held out his hand. "I'm fine. Barton, give me my gun." Trowa sighed loudly again and picked up the gun before tossing it to Heero without another word. Heero snatched the weapon out of the air and cradled it up against his chest, his lips twitching as he watched Duo shift from foot to foot. "Duo, why are you hiding behind the desk?"

"Because Trowa's standing there." Duo was being unusually less than wordy to that question.

"What's that got to do with anything?" Trowa replied, still quite grumpy about falling onto the floor and getting interrupted when he had Heero right where he wanted him. Trowa slowly got to his feet and moved to his duffel not caring that he was nude and that Duo and Heero saw him.

"I'm not wearing anything man, I was just gotta get in then back out of here. Then you tried to jump me!" Duo moved around the desk opposite of Trowa as far he could go before he would be in Heero's line of sight. *Why is this turning me on??? Shit.*

Trowa calmly put on some boxers and then some pants before just walking to the door and opening it, figuring some breakfast was in order. He was still rather pissed off at Duo for sneaking around. Duo just waited for Trowa to get out of the room, entirely certain that Heero wouldn't be likely to watch him. He couldn't believe he'd been so clumsy!

Heero shook his head, rolling over in bed and turning his back to Duo pointedly. "Next time, know better."

"Geeze, I get it, next time just ignore you, you're screaming in pleasure, not pain!" Duo skittered quickly out of the room, running to get boxers before moving to the kitchen, though he was still trying to talk his body down.

Meanwhile, back in the kitchen Trowa was making some coffee hoping that Duo retreated back to his room soon, grumbling all the while at his somewhat rude awakening.

Duo looked up and paused, seeing Trowa in the kitchen. "I was coming here anyway. I've been hungry for hours."

Trowa heard the tail end of Duo's outburst and groaned slightly before hearing Duo come in. "Yeah. I made some coffee." He avoided looking at Duo and cursed himself, also cursing the safe 'cottage' for being small and having thin walls.

"Cool man, thanks! I don't need any though. I just told you. I've been hungry for hours. Don't need caffeine when you haven't been to sleep and all that."

"You didn't sleep?" Trowa asked, pouring himself a cup, but still avoiding looking at Duo.

"Of course not, I slept all the way here." Duo moved into the room, opening the cupboards and gnawing at his lip before he finally found a box of crackers, taking it down and pulling out some of the cheesy squares. "Odd people who stayed here last though unless you guys went shopping."

"Wufei still sleeping?" Trowa asked and took a sip of his coffee. He liked it black. He eyes followed Duo as he opened the cupboards in hopes of seeing something he liked.

"Of course. He didn't sleep at all... I don't understand why really, I didn't have any trouble." Duo looked back towards his room then shook his head, offering the box to Trowa to take a handful. "We need to get some food for this place."

"I'm not hungry." Trowa replied to the offering, lifting his hand to stall off Duo's normal insistence in the matter. "I'm gonna go see if Heero... Needs some coffee." Trowa grabbed his own cup and retreated back to his room still slightly embarrassment.

Duo suddenly started snickering as Trowa left the room. That felt great! He'd wanted to get back at Trowa for ages for destroying his gundam before. Maybe his clumsiness had a high point after all. Nodding to himself, Duo took the box of food back to his room with him.

"Heero?" Trowa's voice was soft as he stepped back into the room. He shut the door quietly behind him in case Heero had gone back to sleep.

Heero turned his head, cracking an eye open to look at Trowa. He'd found some spandex somewhere while Trowa was out. "If you had just gotten back in bed he would have left."

"Next time I'll do that." Trowa replied and sat on the edge of the bed, taking a sip of his coffee. "He overheard... You know..." He calmly took another sip, hoping that Heero wouldn't throw him out.

"I did hear him. I know when Duo is in the room with me Trowa, he was my partner before he disappeared." Heero turned his head to look at Trowa, a faint trace of a smile crossing his face. "I don't care if he heard."

"Hmm." Trowa just sat calmly while staring at the door.

"If you aren't going back to sleep, please remove yourself. I am going back to sleep." Heero seemed to consider that the end of the conversation, rolling back over onto his stomach as he closed his eyes.

Trowa put his empty coffee cup onto the bedside table and tossed back the covers and climbed in behind Heero to snuggle up with him again. *He certainly didn't feel as calm about knowing that Duo overheard them...but if Heero doesn't care...* Heero just rolled over to give Trowa more space, apparently having decided that he was no longer in a cuddling mood. Trowa sighed loudly again, trying to decide if it was worth it to stay in this bed now that he'd had some coffee, if Heero wasn't going to cuddle with him. Heero ignored Trowa's inner turmoil, more devoted to going back to sleep, though he was alert to the goings on of his temporary bedmate.
