---Long after certain continents shifted in the Pacific forcing their populations to shift, but certainly before the continents as we know them existed, there was a land that had mastered a few of earth's elements and even had a rather well developed science, knowing principles of gravity and energy that we are only now learning the principles of today. They had a well developed psychology and philosophy that later led to some of the same belief systems we take for granted at present. There were some differences. In some measures we have lost valuable ideas that they had discovered and used to their own advantage. The Quester found, to his surprise, that man has forgotten more practical ways of thinking and the psychology of the mind than we have remembered or discovered again. Just when the circle, the rectangle, and the triangle were being understood and used the way man has learned to use 1 and 0 today, the world came face to face with a disaster. It ended with a Diaspora the likes of which has not been witnessed since.
---'You must erase all your past prejudices and most basic belief systems,' spoke Aethalia, in her attempt to reassure her subject. 'We would trash your temple of consecrated beliefs built by you on sand. We ask you to deposit these shattered ideas into the ash-can of mistaken doctrines,' she instructed, taking his hand. With firm grip she lead him to a room empty except for an ornately carved chair.
