1914 Brownie

We had our first meeting and the girls are planning lots of fun things to for this coming year.

1918 Senior

All ten girls in our troop earned the President's award for service. The received certificates signed by the President and got a really nice gold pin to wear. To get this they had to put in over 100 hours of service in one year's time. Amanda's Gold Award project is done and the finished product can be seen at St. Andrews First United Methodist Church. The rooms look great! Ashley V. and Jamie set a goal of collecting 900 toys as just part of their Gold Award Project.  They now have 901 and are still collecting. They have several Christmas parties for the kids to be apart of this Christmas and then they will be done. Kimia is organizing the Santa Cowboy warehouse for her Gold Award Project. She needs troops to come help, great service hours. She will pop in at our next community meeting with fliers.

1936 Cadette

Welcome back old troop members, and with open arms we welcome the new troop members. School has started; we are back in the swing of things and ready to get involved. The girls selected the badges they want to work on as a group for the year and are jazzed up. Our troop has a few new girls this year, which is giving us all a "fresh" look at new ideas. We took a tour of the Arlington Central Library, which was very interesting. They put together a Power Point presentation just for the Girl Scouts. The girls are working on posters for the library and are talking about doing a skit at the library from one of the storybooks. Our first camping trip will be in October, and the girls will be putting together the plans for this in the next few weeks.

1989 Junior

We started the year by going to the Limited Too and doing the Fashion Badge. We have also begun working on scrapbooks to record all the fun things we are doing this year. We are going camping in October.

1994 Junior

We are starting out the 2000-2003 year with three new members. We'd like to welcome Nicole, Cassie and Sterling.
