The Commander of the Unholy Norwegian Army is one of four generals of the Viking Horde (The Dragon Lord, The Enchantress, and the Beserker Commander). The Commander is in charge of the Unholy Norwegian Army and the Empirial Navy. Both of these units consist of humans. They are not usually invloved in direct combat, but are used more in clean-up patrols following the main Horde. The Empirial Navy also provides the transportation for the Horde on it's way to glory. They are allwoed the use of conventional human weapons. However, because there is a small amount of underhanded humans in the Horde, they are not allowed use of Magic and Energy Weapons; the main reason they are not active combat units.

The Commander of the Unholy Norwegian Army was the first to pledge loyalty to the Viking King. Know as Nico the Boneless, he was the second in command of the Gulbransen Clan; the leader of whom the Viking King slew. After the Viking King had defeated their leader, Nico the Boneless recognized his triumph and handed over command of the clan to the Viking King.

Throughout the time that they spent together searching for the Dragons, they formed a solid friendship. After the Viking King acquired the Mages, he made Nico the Commander of the Unholy Norwegian Army. It was Nico who recovered the body of the slewn Viking King when he fell at Hastings, and swore to destroy the unit that had dealt the final blow. While the Beserker Commander took the rest of the Horde to destroy The Goddess, Nico led The Unholy Norwegian Army to destroy the rest of the Englishmen that had fought on the battlefield that day, but not until the English had defeated the other Viking Forces that the Viking King had aided that fateful day.
