About the Air Training Corps

The Air Training Corps is one of the largest youth organisations in the United Kingdom. It aims to give young people experience in the field of aviation. There are many different and varied activities that you can take part in whilst in the Air Training Corps. Here are just a few of them.


Whilst you are in the Air Training Corps you will have the opportunity to take part in camps. These can be camps on Royal Air Force bases, including those overseas, and adventure training camps, such as those pictures here.


You will have the opportunity to develop your leadership skills. The Air Training Corps offers you a wealth of new and challengind activities to take part in and develop your full potential.


Of course there will be plenty of opportunity for flying in Bulldog aircraft, and gliding in both powered and non powered gliders.


Whilst in the Air Training Corps there will be plenty of opportunity to take part in sports. We offer a comprehensive range of activities such as soccer, netball, rugby, basketball, five - a - sideand atheletics. We also support the nationally recognised Duke of Edinburgh awards scheme.
