Websites
A few helpful links for PL/B developers.
Sunbelt
Computer Systems, Inc. has been in the business of selling
PL/B (formerly DATABUS) compilers and utilities longer than
any other company other than Datapoint (the originators of the
language).
Mid-Michigan
Computer Consultants has a pretty good web site explaining
PL/B's
history along with some PL/B
notes/samples.
7th
Judicial Circuit of Missouri (Clay County) has PL/B
driving the Access
Public Records.
Microsoft
has a slew of utilities. A favorite of ours is the Platform
SDK help. This help file encompassing all Microsoft
software. We have used it for help on Windows API's, ASP, VB,
etc. It can be configured to install help on specific
packages, which makes for a smaller download and faster
installation.
Microsoft's
Knowledge Base Solutions that you never knew existed only
a few clicks away.
Newsgroups
Newsgroups
are a great source for finding solutions to your problems or
viewing other peoples problem and the solutions recommended. Once
you get used to posting questions, no problem is to tough to
solve. Newsgroups help you to see pitfalls before falling in.

Microsoft
Microsoft has an outstanding selection of developer
newsgroups. To view these newsgroups in NNTP format,
visit the MSDN
Online Support site, which requires an NNTP newsreader
such as Outlook Express. There is also a Web-based
newsgroup client, which is a little more cumbersome than
the NNTP newsreader. We use Outlook Express and are very
satisfied. Below are some of our favorite newsgroups:
