New Years Eve Fireworks from Across the Bay. We parked our butts at the Negril Yacht Club (which by the way has no place to even dock a boat) and watched the fireworks display on the beach at Alfred's Ocean Palace. Side note, explosives of any kind are so controlled in Jamaica that the Military has to have someone watching as the materials are put in place and launched. So basically all day as they set up, that evenings display, the Jamaican Military was standing guard over the fireworks crews. They had a fabulous display here are just a few of the frame grabs I snatched from the half hour long + video tape I shot of the display. If you click on one of the images you will see a larger view. I didn't use thumbnails so that is why it takes the page so long to load. On the up side viewing the larger image takes only seconds. |
