Curtis – his mementos

“The angel in the book of life wrote down my darlings’ birth,

and murmured as she turned the page, too beautiful for earth…”

After reading my poem “What is a rainbow” my good

Friend Rachel made this framed picture for

Me in an art class she is taking. She sent

it for his third anniversary

and I just love it.

I recently presented Dr Bermans’ book

“Parenthood Lost” to our local SANDS

group. This dedication is pasted in

the front of the book.

“Friendships link and loop and interweave,

until they mesh the world…”

This website would not have been possible were it not for the help, support and friendship of Sheryl McMahon, one of my global Hygeia friends. I am forever grateful to Sheryl for her help, which was given and received totally in the spirit of Hygeia, from the opposite ends of the globe. I also feel privileged to have had a small input into the website she has created in memory of Alison Hannah, her precious baby girl lost 18 years ago. Please take a moment to visit Alison Hannah here

Babyloss Awareness Week is a week

To recognise and remember our lost

Babies. It is not really recognised

Here (in New Zealand) but I choose

To recognise it each year as it

Coincides with Curtis’ anniversary date.

And I just loved this picture so much

I had to include it. Thank you for

Visiting and I hope you leave here

Having gained something. Please feel

Free to share this site with anyone

Whose life has been touched by

This terrible tragedy…the loss of a baby.
