INTERIOR
Removed the interior (what was left of it). The original carpeting had deteriorated to almost a powder. There were skeletal remains of spiders, lizards, flies and several unknown creatures.

The black interior was not a wise choice for this climate so choose cream and maroon for interior colors. Recovered the front and rear seats. The front bucket seats were rather difficult. Had lots of complex angles. I used the original seat covers as patterns but they had stretched over the years. Still it came out fairly well.

The headliner material is not available anymore. However, I found some era style material for $2 a yard at a nearby cloth store. I estimate I'll use about ten yards of seat vinyl and 2 yards of headliner. This will be to recover seats, dash finisher, rear deck, and console.

Refurbished the airbox, replaced foam and seals. Had the heater core pressure checked. It was good so reinstalled airbox. Presently, working on dash. Need to cut plywood. Drill the holes for the gauges. Then finish with polyurethane.
