The Model A Ford Pickup
Is it a 30 0r 31? You tell me.

Here is the $100.00 body I picked up in NYS from a friend of mine.
When I unloaded it , it broke in half. That was a 2 hour welding job. LOL

I'm trying to keep it under $1.25/pound with lots of free-bees.

Not going to chop this one, I want the headroom and legroom.

I handmade the frame. It is 2x4 box tubing and styled after a T bucket, but longer and wider.

I also handmade the rear suspension of triangulated 4 bar and coil springs.

I plan to rebuild the 455 Buick motor (another free-bee) to drop in
once I find the front axle from a early 60's Ford or Chevy van.

So, a long ways to go on this one, but that's 1/2 the fun.

I finally have it finished!! So I am starting a new project. A 1937 Ford Slantback.
Note added 11/9/2008:
Well, I'm not finished. I decided to chop the top . .
