NEW TRIP

July 13, 1998!
The plane left BWI at 11:55am on July 13 1998! We got to Jacksonville at 1:45pm! When we landed I thought the engine broke but it was just the engine stopping! Then we drove two hours to get here at about 3:30! We played, fished, told stories and messed around the house and ate Taco Casserole for supper!

July 14,1998!
We woke up at 9:00am! We ate waffles! Then we went to the grocery store! We came home and launched the grandchildren's boat and ate sandwiches! I took the grandchildrens boat on a hour long trip! And took it back out and went whent out a couple more times! I ate Chicken Noodle Soup! Then I went to my grandpa's computer meeting!

July 15, 1998!
I woke up at 9:00am! Ate cereal and took the boat on a trip! About 30 minutes into the trip the motor broke! I had to troll and get a tow to get back to the house. When I got back my grandpa found the problem! We had to take the boat out to fix it. We went to town to find the part but had to drive all the way to Lake George to get it. Then my grandpa fixed it. We had Roast Beef, potatoes and gravy for supper. Daniel had one of his best days ever fishing off the dock. He caught 20 fish and was going to use them for crab bait but they all died and were kinda stinky by morning. The last one broke Daniel's pole and took off down the canal with the broken part of the pole. Grandpa cast out a fishing plug and caught the pole and Daniel landed about a two pound catfish that he says he is going to eat.

July 16,1998!
We woke up at 8:00 to go boating, swimming and tubing at Salt Springs but it looked like it was going to rain and it DID. We launched the little boat again(we had to take it out to fix it). My grandpa mowed the wet lawn. Then my brother went out fishing with grandma. They only caught one little baby fish! When they got back we ate lunch! I had some of grandma's good old chicken noodle soup. After lunch I took the boat out with my grandma. We caught nothing.:( We came back and sat around! We ate my favorite food for supper - St Johns River shrimp!

July 17,1998!
I only got 6 hours of sleep! HELP! Me and my grandpa woke up at 5:00am. We took the new boat to Rodman. We fished and fished and fished. Finally I GOT ONE! A 15 inch Largemouth Bass. We left fishing at about 12:00pm. When we got back we took pictures and cleaned the boat. Then I sat around and took a shower! Next I went outside to sit with my brother Daniel and My Grandmother! I went running inside and hit my toe! I yelled "OUCH!" I had cut my toe open and broke my toe nail. It hurt, but not any more! Now im about to eat Fried Fish!

July 18,1998!
I woke up at 11:00am. I was soooooo tired from previous days. Then, I ate French Toast! Next my brother, grandmother, and me went out for a boat ride. We got back and sat around. My grandpa got back from a computer show at about 4:00pm. We went to get gas fom the little boat. We ate spaghetti for dinner.

July 19,1998!
We woke up at about 9:00am to go to church. We went to church and sunday school! We came home, went to Golden Corral and tried to eat them out of business. We came home relaxed and went for a boat ride, then ate sandwiches for a dinner/snack.

July 20, 1998!
We woke up at 8:00am to go tubing! We got the boat and gear ready and all 4 of us went. We drove down to Welaka launched the boat and drove on the boat to Salt Springs to go swimming and tubing! Me and my brother rode the wild raft! (Ski Pal2) I went over 30 miles an hour! WOW! It was really fun! We got back about one o'clock, cleaned the boat up and ate lunch!

July 21,1998!
We got up at 5:00am to go fishing at Lake George. We got there and fished and fished and then my grandpa caught a Striped Bass. Then he caught two more largemouth Bass. Only one was a keeper(14inch), the other one was really close. I caught nothing!:( We got back and ate lunch. I took a little nap and then went to town. Now we are about to eat fried chicken and mashed potatoes with cake for dessert!

July 22, 1998!
We decided to get a day of rest, so we slept in and got up late. Daniel and grandmother fished and Daniel caught a bunch of small bream. We picked up and emptied the crab traps. We have been saving them for three days to have a feast. Cleaned the crabs. Then we ate them! That is just about all we did today!

July 23, 1998
My brother was going to go fishing with my grandpa, but my grandpa had expiercened a steering problem the other day. So he took the boat out alone and tried it out. It did't feel right so he took it to the boat dealer (Millers Boating Center.) It was a hour drive down there and a hour back. We left the boat there to be worked on. On the way back we stoped at Mc Donalds! When we got back we sat around. We ate pizza for dinner.

July 24, 1998
I was awakened up by my grandma screaming to get up. The boat dealer had called and told us the boat was ready. So we drove to Ocala and picked it up. They had replaced the steering helm and said it was ready for fun and games. When we got home we waited to make sure it was not going to rain. Finally at about 4:30 we left, drove to the ramp and put the boat in and went tubing. We had a steak night!

July 25, 1998!
My brother and my grandpa went fishing early (5)in the morning(Picture!) I slept in until about 10:00am. When I got up I ate waffles! My brother and grandpa got back at about 12:00am. They caught some bream and Daniel caught two small (non keepers) largemouth bass. When they got back we ate and the relaxed and took a boat ride. We ate fried fish for dinner and it was REALLY GOOD!

July 26, 1998
We woke up and went to church at about 9:00am. When we came home we ate lunch, then went to Rodman to walk around the nature trails (Picture!) Before we left to go home we decided to go watch people recover their boats at the ramp. IT WAS SOOO FUNNY! People these days can be so STUPID! It was one of the funniest things I have ever seen. I recommend visiting a ramp when it starts to sprinkle because everbody get so excited. On the way back we went to Burger King! It was good. When we got home we went fishing and relaxed.

July 27 1998!
We were going to go fishing but my grandpa had a bad bad bad headache:( So what we did was just sleep in and relax. So that's what we did. We went to the post office at 1:00pm. We ate salisbury steak for dinner! I also had banana pudding and cake for desert.

July 28, 1998!
We woke up at 5:00am to go fishing. We got there and got to the spot at about 6:30am. We did not catch much, I caught a small bass, and my grandpa caught a small bass. Both were to small to keep (Picture.) We got home at about 12:30pm. We ate lunch and relaxed.

July 29, 1998!
We woke up and went tubing! We got back at about 1:00pm. We ate lunch and I took a long nap. When I woke up it was time for dinner, we ate pork chops!

July 30, 1998!
We woke up and went and shot the guns. When we got back we went to the post office. Then we ate lunch and relaxed. This will be my last message.
