1. The Basic Firebird.

Economy is what the basic Firebird is all about. But the beauty of the car is that the
same economy that keeps its price down, also makes it a better sports car. That kind
of beauty isn't easily accomplished. Even for Pontiac. But remember, we promised
the beginning of tomorrow. And it starts here.
This page in the brochure, along with the inside cover and the informative sales pitch in the section accompanying this page, lays out the foundation for each of the successive models in the brochure. This car appears to be a different color from the one in the full-line introductory picture. The graphic above spreads across two pages of the brochure. Note the poor alignment of the graphic in the middle, where the pages met. Yeah, I did a lousy job of retouching this one.

Note the navigation links below. The first row takes you to two specific pages within the brochure: The front cover of the brochure and the index page (inside front cover) of the brochure. The second row takes you to the first page of each model's section within the brochure. The third row allows navigation through the brochure page-by-page using the "Previous" and "Next" links, along with allowing navigation outside of the brochure (back to Steve's Cars or to the index page of this web site).
