These are my Home away from Motorcycles

91 Jeep Wrangler1991 Jeep Wrangler 4 cyl: This vehicle, sadly, is currently for sale. I've owned this jeep for the past five years and it has stood by me through many hard times...fun times...exciting times...all times. It has 115,000 miles on it, yet it insists on running like a champ. It has towed motorcycles and boats. It's lived hot hot summers at beaches and cold 91 wrangler sidecold winters tracking through snow. It has often 4X4'd , occasionally perhaps where it shouldn't have, but always felt at home in the process no matter what the terrain.

97 Wrangler side1997 Jeep Wrangler Sport 6 cyl: This is my replacement for the aforementioned vehicle and my first NEW car. A beautiful replacement she is, but she has some mighty big shoes to fill and a lot of memories to compete with. Our relationship got off to a rocky start as she has already spent quite some time in the body shop.
Freak Accident Story: After only driving her a hand full of times, we were inocently cruising down the interstate, when a rather large airborne object crashes down from approximately 20 feet in the air. This object leaves just enough reaction time to slow down enough to avoid it crashing through the cockpit and probably killing me and my friend. This object turned out to be a runnaway wheel from a Ford Probe which was travelling the opposite direction on the other side of the interstate. I don't know97 Wrangler up if you can imagine the impact that this scenario produces, but it sent us sideways across two lanes of interstate traffic, again, leaving my friend and I lucky to be alive. Due to the height that the wheel attained, during it's trajectory, all traffic was trying desperately to slow down to prepare for the aftermath of the collision. This is all that saved us. The driver of the Probe had just had his tires rotated by a very large, household name company (for the time being, I will withold the name of this establishment). It turns out that this company forgot to tighten the Probe's front left lug nuts, thus leading to this horibly memorable incident. Even though this company has accepted full responsibility for this negligence, the insurance company which represents them, Kemper Insurance Company, is still trying to be as cheap with me as possible. I have not yet been reimbursed for the extensive repairs that my new 97 Wrangler sidevehicle has undergone because there is one aspect of property damage compensation (depreciation value) which they say I can't prove. By Florida law, I must be compensated for this loss and, while it is often difficult to estimate, in this case, the vehicle rolled off the lot brand new and sustained major damages within the first 450 miles. This makes it very easy to determine and an expert has already done so. If I continue to feel mistreated by Kemper Insuranse Company, I will gladly release the name of the negligent company.
