Chapter 94, Leaving To London

Breanna looked around the airport with a baseball cap placed low almost covering her eyes. She started walking around the terminal with Anna in her arms, comforting the baby as she fussed. "C'mon Anna, don't start. That's all mommy needs...someone to recognize me. You haven't been seen by the media yet; I don't think you want them to see you now. They're not nice, baby girl." Breanna said quietly under her breath as she lightly bounced Anna up and down. Breanna and Howie had agreed to try to stay away from the public until Anna was a little bit older because they wanted as much private time as possible. There wasn't a press release like planned after Anna was born. No one saw Breanna go into the hospital when she went into labor and no one officially saw Breanna leave with Anna. Howie still went clubbing on the weekends with friends and was seen by fans but no one saw Breanna. She hadn't been seen since she moved back to Orlando and when asked about Breanna or his daughter, Howie never answered.

"Hey!" Breanna jumped a foot into the air scaring Anna in the process as the baby began to cry. "Dammit, Eve! Don't do that to me!" Breanna scolded as she rubbed Anna's back. "How's Rose?" Eve asked with concern as the baby continued to cry. "*Anna* is fine." Breanna replied. Over the past few months everyone who knew Anna began calling her by her middle name. Rose began to stick but Howie always called her Anna. He loved her name but he also wanted to protect her identity. Fans who knew someone who *was* someone found out that Howie's daughter was named Rose "after her mother", when in actuality Howie told every one of their friends to call her Rose for privacy. So far not one fan knew about her real name. "So? Excited about the trip? I would kill for a week long vacation from Sarah...and Kevin for that matter." Eve stated as both women began to giggle. "Yeah right, Eve!" Breanna shot back, smiling. "Yeah...right. Kevin would never want to leave Sarah alone for a week." Eve said with a sigh as she smiled at Anna who was now calm. "Whatever! *You're* the one who can't handle leaving Sarah alone." "Yeah, yeah...anyway, where are the guys?" Eve asked trying to change the subject. "I have no clue. I remember Howie mentioning something about forgetting something and having to go call AJ to pick it up...and something else. Like I listen? He's a guy, they all babble about the same crap." Breanna replied seriously before a smile came to her lips. "Yup, same ol' Breanna." Eve smiled back.

"Oh c'mon! Where is he?" Howie asked to no one in particular, acting a little antsy. "Calm down, he'll get here. You know how he drives." Kevin replied as he and Howie walked around the terminal entrance. "Yeah, I know how he drives. That's what I'm afraid of, Kev." Howie said quietly. "There he is!" Kevin replied loudly as he looked over Howie's head, something that was easy for him. Howie's head shot straight up as he watched AJ weave in and out of people who were in a hurry to get to their flights. "Damn, what took so long!?" Howie shouted across the terminal. AJ smiled sheepishly as he held a McDonald's bag over his head. "Of course." Kevin mumbled with a laugh. "What the hell? You know that our flight leaves soon." Howie whined as he met AJ half way. "Where is it?" Howie demanded as Kevin caught up to the guys. "Give me a minute...it's in here...somewhere." AJ replied while searching through his backpack. "Why'd you bring *that*?" Kevin asked. "Oh, I challenged Bri to a game of b-ball. He and Nick were partying last night and he's not looking too good this morning so I figured that I have a pretty good chance at winning this match." AJ explained as he continued to look through his bag. "How much did you bet, AJ?" Howie asked knowing that AJ didn't like to "just win" anything. There was always a prize involved. "Not that much. A hundred bucks." AJ replied  with little interest. "A hundred bucks!?" Kevin asked. "Yeah." "You better hope he's really hungover." Kevin replied. "Oh, he is, trust me! Or I wouldn't have challenged him." AJ replied. "Exactly how hard did they party last night?" Kevin asked. "Nick said he wants to marry Natasha so Brian decided that Nick just thinkin' about getting married was reason enough to celebrate, so they hit every bar in the ten mile radius." AJ stated as he glanced up at Howie. "You're not lookin' too good, buddy." He said with a smile. "Where is it!? Please don't tell me you lost it." Howie pleaded. "Lost what? This!?" AJ asked with a smile as he pulled out a small bible that had a small lock near the center. "A bible? Weren't you supposed to bring...?" "Look, Kev." Howie said as he unlocked the bible and opened it to reveal that the center of the book was cut out. "Ah, smart!" Kevin stated as AJ and Howie nodded their heads with cheesy smiles. "Nick's idea?" Kevin asked again. "Who else?" Howie asked back as they started walking towards the gate.

Breanna and Eve stood near the window watching the ground crew as they loaded the plane with the passengers luggage. "United Airlines flight 4069 to New York with connections to London, Paris and Berlin now boarding first class passengers at gate 43." Breanna and Eve looked up at the loud speaker above their heads before turning their attention back to one another. "Ready to go?" Eve asked with a smile. Breanna looked down at Anna before looking back up to Eve. "No." Breanna replied. "I can't leave anyway. Howie's not here." Breanna stated. "Yes I am." Howie said from behind Breanna. Breanna jumped before turning quickly around to smack him on the arm. "Eve has already scared me once today! I don't need you doin' it, too." She said smiling. Breanna saw AJ lingering around the corner talking to Kevin and decided to go say good-bye since it looked like he was about to take off. "Hey, were are you going?" She shouted as he walked quickly down the terminal. AJ turned around when he recognized her voice and smiled. "Hey babe! I was going to get you something." He joked as he started walking back towards Breanna. "Hey Anna." He murmured as he kissed the baby. "Hey mama!" He added as he gave Breanna a friendly kiss. "I was gonna get you something to read on the plane." He explained as Breanna looked at him funny. "No you weren't. You were going to leave." Breanna stated with a smirk. "Actually, yeah. I'm supposed to pick up Mya at her gate in about...." AJ started to say he glanced down at his watch. "...5 minutes ago." He concluded. "Oh, then go!" Breanna replied trying to usher AJ out of the terminal. "Nah, I'll see you guys off. You're leaving in a few anyway." He stated as they started walk towards the gate entrance.

"So? Are you ready?" Howie asked Breanna. Breanna glanced down at Anna before resting the back of her head against Howie's shoulder. They stood in a small circle saying good-bye to their friends. "I guess." Breanna murmured as she kissed Anna on the head causing the baby to smile. Before Breanna could look back up a flash went off in her eyes scaring the baby as she started to cry. Before Breanna could comprehend what was going on, Howie had taken the baby out of Breanna's arms, put the hood of her small jacket over he head and handed her to Kevin who held her close to his body. Breanna looked up to see AJ tackling some guy with a large camera, trying to take the film out of the camera. "Go, you two!" AJ shouted as Kevin and Eve took off down the terminal with Anna while Howie and Breanna shouted good-bye to their friends before running on to the plane.
