This is me my first day of Kindergarten
in El Paso, TX. I used to refuse to wear pants, so I always wore
dresses. That's my fave bear, Punch. I still sleep with him
at night.

I'm Leslie D'Ann Phinny.
I graduated from Coahoma High School in May of 2001. I currently attend West Texas A & M in Canyon, Texas. My major is Business Education and after I graduate, I plan on attending Law School. I'll turn 21 in December 2003. I have a great family and tons of wonderful friends!
(There's links at the bottom of the page to my other pages.) My favorite
colors are purple and iridescent. I love butterflies, as you can
probably tell. Someday when I grow up, I wanna be Britney Spears. If you've ever visited my apartment, you'd understand completely. I'm a very eclectic person with a great
personality.
I'm currently dating the
greatest guy in the world. We've been together for four years in
June 2003. It's been four years full of great memories, laughs, tears,
and tons of love. He graduated from Lorenzo High School in Lorenzo, Tx in 2001.
It's a school with the reputation of kicking some butt at basketball.

I've tried to stay very involved at WTAMU. I'm currently a Student Government Senator for the College of Business. I wason the Colorguard here. Our nickname a couple of seasons ago was Absolut Guard. This year I have to take a break from it at the college, but I still be an colorguard instructor for my girls at Highland Park High School. This Fall, I get the honor to be on the WTAMU President's Ambassadors. I'm really excited to be chosen for that honor. I'm currently working on the Buff Branding Steering Committee to get our Fish weekend orientation together for before Fall starts.
I continue to be an active member of Business Professionals of America.
Every year, I try to stay active by helping train the BPA Texas state officers. I'm trying to get a Post-Secondary chapter started here at WT. If you're interested email me. I hope I can get it up and running this Fall 2003.

I received the honor of being selected Ambassador for our high school in the
Hugh O'Brien Youth Leadership Conference in Amarillo while I was still in High School. It was the best weekend of my life. The past
few years, I've been invited back as a Junior Counselor. Next year, hopefully, I'll get to return as a Senior Counselor. (There's a
link to the HOBY Panhandle page on my intro page also. There's some pics
there.) |
