Training Notes
If you have completed any training in the past six months, please
e-mail Lizann Cundall as many leaders
have not been acknowledged for their training. Please include the
approximate date and name of training taken.
General
Independent Study Kits
- Available for completing Daisy, Brownie, Junior or Cadette age-level
training courses.
- Kits contain age-level books, worksheets, videotape and an
audiocassette tape for instruction.
- Kits may be reserved and checked out at the Girl Scout Center in Fort
Worth or Girl Scout Shops in Arlington and North Richland Hills.
- Checkout is for one week, with a $10 refundable deposit due at
checkout time.
Lake Trails Community Training
The Girl Scout training department can accommodate training course
requests for our Community. Age-level and workshop courses need a minimum of
six participants and the Basic Outdoor Skills course needs a minimum of
eight participants. If you would like to have training brought out to the
Community, please contact Jan so that
arrangements can be made with Council.
Reminder
- Two members of the troop leadership team must take Orientation to Girl
Scouts and one member of the leadership team must take the Age Level
training within the first six months.

Application forms are found in the Leader Notebook and are available at
the Girl Scout Center and the Arlington and Northeast Girl Scout shops on
the "freebie shelf".

Reminders
- Register for training at least a week prior to the course, otherwise
the course might be cancelled. You must include your membership ID number
when registering.
- You can register by mail [use Adult Training Registration form] or by phone
at 817-737-7272 ext. 412 (if no fee is required).
