X-Treme X-Men # 3

Beast Character Sketch X-Treme X-Men

It looks like our favorite blue, bouncing beast is going to end up in trouble by X-treme X-Men # 3. According to rumors, the new villan Vargas and his henchmen beat the stuffing out of most of the X-Men, Rogue and Beast included. So far I've only read issue number one of the X-Treme X-men and it wasn't bad. I like Hank's design and his gadgets, they also write him farely well so far, and his characteristic sense of humor is well in tow as always. I give it an A++ for art, A+ for Beast, and an A for plot.

I orginally did hate the new Beast design, but it is growing on me a bit. I still prefer his old look myself... Ah well they didn't ask me. Beast will start out in Claremont's new X-Treme X-Men but leave on Issue # 3 then headover to to New X-men for his new makeover. Some say he'll begin to look a bit like the lion-like Beast in his last issues in X-Treme X-men, but that I'll wait and see for myself. I don't wanna start hollering about plot points when the comic isn't even out yet. I'll read them as they come and then give my two cents.I know all this is old news now, but I'll be adding new stuff as I get ahold of it so humor me for a little bit.

As for whether or not Beast will be in the next X-movie?? Rumors abound, but Singer has signed on for it and he has said if he helms the next movie he wants Beast and Gambit in it. He's already said Beast and Gambit will be in an X-move. But will it be the next one?

I'd bet on it.:)
