Getting a Grip on Stress and Election of Officers

Networking at 6:30 p.m., Dinner at 7:00 p.m., Discussion at 8:00 p.m.

Join us for a discussion on the effects of stress on the body. Our speaker will be Dr. Katherine Kadin, a chiropractor with ProHealth Chiropractic Wellness Center. Cost is $20 for dinner. Following dinner and the discussion we will hold elections for officers for Suburban Maryland BPW for 2003-2004. The slate of officers is: President Aileen Worrell, Vice President Nancy Layton, Treasurer Ginny Gray, and Secretary Laura Green.

Directions to LaFonté Restaurant: From I-270, take Exit 5 – Rt 189 towards Falls Road. Keep right at the fork in the ramp. Merge onto Falls Road heading north. Turn right onto Rt 28, West Jefferson Street. Turn left onto South Washington Street. Turn left onto Rt 355, Hungerford Drive heading north. Turn left at the intersection of Frederick Avenue and Rt. 355 into a parking lot with a Staples store and the restaurant. Free parking is available in front of the restaurant.

Directions to the Jewish Community Center: From Route 495, merge onto I-270 North toward Frederick (exit number 35). Take the I-270 Local Lanes North toward Montrose Road. Take the Montrose Road East exit (exit number 4A). Merge onto Montrose Road. The community center is approximately 1.5 miles ahead on the left at the intersection of Montrose Road and Jefferson Street. From Route 355, turn west onto Montrose Road. The community center will be two blocks ahead on the right. Free parking is available. The White Flint Metro Station on the Red Line is located approximately one mile from the center. Please note that photo identification is required for admission to the Jewish Community Center.
