Introduction to Christianity!

This will probably be the least visited page of all the other pages. Yet, for those who have found their way here, I would like to give those non-Christians a brief introduction of Christianity. If you are a new Christian, this page will be useful as the Christian Question and Answers page will help as well.

Christianity has many many denominations. There is Methodist, Presbyterian, Charismatic...etc. Each differs in their own teaching. I am a Presbyterian attending a Charismatic Church but yet, I prefer Presbyterian. This is MY PREFERENCE...and I am not saying that I am right.

Christianity is NOT a RELIGION. Yes, you read it right. IT IS NOT A RELIGION. Christianity is the relationship between the individual and Jesus or GOD. I know that in many places,there are door to door Christians knocking on your door and the first thing they start saying is usually, " Hey, if you don't believe in Jesus, you are going to burn Eternally in Hell." And this statement puts off many many people especially the older folks. This is a BAD way of ministering and is VERY INEFFECTIVE. When Jesus went around ministering, did he go around saying, "Hey, if you don't believe in me, I will send you to Hell." No, Jesus ministered through HIS LOVE, HIS CARE. He raised people from the dead, he helped people, he healed people. He did not go around using the Word Hell. He converted Gentile (Non-Jews or Non-Christians) with his Love, and not by manipulating people's Fear of Death and Hell.

Yet, these people that go around ministering, MAY have a good intention as it is stated in the bible that those who do not believe will perish. I believe that these people do it out of Love and Care for the "target". Yet, sad as I might, there are many many and I do mean many cults, Satanic cults that defame Christianity by purposely planned bad ministering. I AM NOT SAYING THAT ALL PEOPLE THAT DO THIS ARE FROM CULTS. I am saying that there is the POSSIBILITY and PROBABILITY.

The relationship of God (Jesus) towards us is Love. John 3:16 - For God so LOVED the World that He gave his only Begotten Son,..etc. God is a little difficult to comprehend even for Christians. God comprised of the Father - Jehovoh, the Son - Jesus and the Holy Spirit. They are Three in One. This concept if understood would well solve many problems.

What the bible verse meant was that God - the Father loved us - His Creations so much (because He created us) that to save us, He sent His Only Son to die for Our Sins.

In Christian belief, all Humans have sins. Who can say he/she has done no wrong? Never lied? Never cheated? Never got rude to their parents? Never talked behind someone else? It is all these things that are considered sins. Of course, from the Christian aspect, many more things are considered sins. It is these little bad things that prevent people from entering Heaven. God is perfect and He does not want to be with imperfect, dirty sinners as a King would not want to have beggars all around him that will dirty the place. This is same situation that God does not want. Therefore, God sent His son to die for us - which is to cleanse us. And those that believed in Christ - His Son, will get cleansed. This is like having a soap and if you do not use it, you won't get clean. THERE IS NO PRICE TO PAY. The bible had mentioned, that those who believe without seeing are Blessed. Who has seen Jesus at this times? No one! In reality, in life and flesh, there is NO ONE that had seen Christ. Yet they believed. This is what the bible described as Blessed are those that believeth without seeing.

Therefore, Christianity is the Love of the Person to God and the acceptance of Love from God by Man. In Christianity, you do not go to Heaven because you do good deeds, in fact, in accordance to the Bible, going to Heaven is SIMPLY by Believing that Jesus Christ died for you on the Cross. You do not need to donate all the money you have to Church. You go to Heaven through Jesus Christ not by donations. Prior to that...the most difficult step would be to Love God whole-heartedly. Understand that Christianity is a "religion" of Love and Faith in God. It is not a religion to demand your money. God does not need your money. Why would God..who made you need your money? And can money save you from Hell? Try giving Satan one million bucks to buy yourself out of Hell.

Hell is something not simply concocted by Christians. The bible stories of Noah's great Ark and the Great Flood and even the miracles in Egypt performed THROUGH Moses are not simply stories. They are being investigated by scientists. Many are proven to be through..that is the Noah's great flood of the World. I am sorry that I am unable to produce any documented websites to provide you the facts and details, all I can assure you that from analysing soil composition, a great flood had indeed occured sometime LONG LONG ago. Evolution, the bane of the creation of Adam and Eve, is getting disproved by Scientist. Let me give you simple logic first before you go to www.chick.com to read the online track on 'Big Daddy?'. Okay, Birds came from dinosaurs. The dinosaurs don't exist anymore. Tigers come from Sabretooth Tigers...the Sabretooth tigers don't exist anymore. Elephants come from the Mammoth, the Mammoth don't exist anymore either. If Man came from Monkeys, why the do monkeys still exist?

Let's go onto a little science. (I am a Biotechnologist). Evolution come when the species cannot fully adapt to the environment and thus they Evolve to adapt. If monkeys evolved to Humans to adapt because the environment is bad to monkeys, why the heck are they still climbing the trees now? And why are there cavemen then? Okay...you are another biologist, and you argue on Biodiversity. Okay...Biodiversity. Then let me tell you. Go compare the difference in the DNA between different species of cats, birds, insects. Then compare the DNA of apes and humans and tell me how great the difference is. Since we are "all" under the genus "Homo sp." Okay, now you say that the Earth is millions of years old. Then now let me talk to your little logic. How efficient is Carbon dating? A recently killed animal was dated wrongly. Scientist made oil from rubbish in 20 minutes!! Not million of years. Noah's ark is found as well. It is found in Russia, one of the mountains and half buried in Ice. The documents are suppressed by officials as well. Okay, let's go to something more open and unsuccessfully suppressed. The miracles are documented in Egyptian scripts (almost everything is carved on walls and scripts) but they are described as the work of the Evil demon ...blah blah blah. The water turning to blood is obviously very possibly the Red Tide caused by algal blooms - or specifically Gymnodinium breve. Pfiesteria piscicida, another dinoflagellate has been discovered in North Carolina and can cause sores (also one of the plague in Egypt), memory loss, neuromuscular disorders.

Skeletons of both horses and soldiers are found buried deep in the sea bed of the Red sea which parted for the Hebrews to cross. The Red sea is also found to have indeed parted by analysis of the sea bed and rocks possibly caused by planetary alignment. The snake that turned from a staff or rather vicer versa was found to be a particular snake (sorry, I forgot the scientific name) that when you press the point behind the neck/skull, the snake's muscle will all stifen up and be rigid like a staff.

Okay, it's all science you say, nothing Godly or supernatural. Okay, then let me ask you. Go calculate the statistical possibility of all that happening to one place. Science is increasingly proving that the biblical events did take place.

If you are a new Christian, I hope this site is useful to you. But at the same time, I recommend those who want bibles to get the King James version. Why? (full details can be obtained at www.chick.com) but basically, NIV..etc has many many verses omitted.
