Finally, summer has commenced! Life is going great, and it seems like
I have plenty to do. With the beginning of summer, I can feel the summer
emotions beginning to churn inside me. I am beginning to hunt for a
job, as well as continue my other work and projects.
Finals week came and went . . . and it went really well. I get the results
of my last years work back in a week or so most likely, and I'll see
how I did.
On Thursday I got my MRI, but the company flaked out and never called
me back with my results, so if they don't call me back on Monday I'm
going to slap them hard :).
This summer I've got a lot of really cool plans. One of them is to go
camping with Liz, Merlin, and the friend of Merlin's choice. We're going
to go North most likely, to some pretty forested region.
Yesterday I went to the city with Liz to pick up her passport. She's
leaving to Australia for two weeks. We had a good time visiting together,
but she was a bit moody. I guess it can be blamed on the tumor, because
that's one of the symptoms is change in behavior. So, we argued a bit,
but it worked out great in the end, because we both like each other
and we were able to spend a lot of time together. This summer I'm going
to spend as much time as I can with her while still doing all the other
things I want to do. I just hope she chooses to deal with this cancer
responsibly, so that our relationship doesn't abruptly end.
Last night I went to visit Ryan because he was having a summer party
over at his house. I really enjoyed seeing him, but especially talking
with his mom. I'm going to stop by again soon later this week to visit
with them. As for today, I'm going to another party hosted by Kendra,
Dan's cousin, but I can only stay for a few hours because tonight I've
got plans to go see the Sound of Music with Liz. Holy crap that was
a combination of run-on's - oh well, no time to correct them! I'm off
to begin the wonderful events of my day!
Take it easy all. Check out the new photo section I'm putting up on
the site soon, full of memories that I want to cherish always.
