Entry One-Hundred Ninety-Five

Freeway Finals

I did very well on both my Spanish and English finals. I got a 28/25 points on the listening comprehension (5 point curve), which is enough for me to get an A in the class. I calculated that if I got every single one on the scantron wrong, but got at least 30% of the listening portion correct, that I'd still maintain an A in the class (I had a 100.8%). For English, the final was to make a recollection of the year, so I wrote Mr. Sumner a letter about the class, and my feelings of him as a teacher. I think he'll like it, because I enjoyed writing it.

Today was the day of the most mentally demanding finals. (Acc.) World Civilizations and (Acc.) Trigonometry can be very demanding. It felt good to hear from del Calvo that I got an A on the final, and it felt even better that I only ran into one problem that I got wrong on the Trig. final. I am pretty sure that I only missed one problem, but I'll be able to check the results tomorrow before school.

The last two of my finals are P.E. (which there is no final at this point for), and Chemistry. I need to study a bit more for Chemistry because the final is actually going to be rather difficult, but other than that I believe my finals were very simple. The finals that took the most time were definitely Drafting and Trigonometry, because I studied for hours for the Trigonometry and I drove to Jon's house to build the Crumple Zone.

After school today my mom and I drove into town and watched quite a boring video. It was very good that we did though - it was for AAA insurance, and it lowers my policy up to 20%. That was the only thing about it that was worthwhile.

I wanted to work out after school today, however that didn't fit into my schedule. The next opportunity I have to lift weights will most likely be three weeks into summer, providing I haven't just had knee surgery (cross your fingers).

I've got a few things I want to get done tonight, and don't really feel like sitting in front of the computer right now. I think I'm going to make plans with some friends, if that's still possible at this point. Perhaps I'll come back on my computer later when my eyes aren't so sore.
¡Adios!
