Today was awesome. Days don't just pass by anymore, I live them. Maybe it's a combination of different things, however since you all know I'm chronically tired, I'm going to refrain from explaining what all those things are . . . if you've read the last few entries you understand my jolly mentality. I finally came to an understanding as to how exactly "added" and "subtracted" waves work: y=x+sin(x) and such similar waves. They're fun. I also learned quite a bit of chemistry today. Moles are back. (Chemistry moles, not moles as in an undercover agent, nor moles as growth). Also today, I went on the most beautiful run of my entire life. I went with Miguel Acuña. I think the feeling was mutual in that we both had a great time. I was able to both talk to Miguel and get to know him better as a person, but we were also able to talk about all sorts of things: teenage things, personal things, issues in life, experiences, all while running the most beautiful hill I've ever ran in my entire life. Not to mention that, but it was also the longest run (6.2 miles), that I've ever been on. The even better news is that I didn't stop the entire time, and finished in a respectable time. I know the time was respectable because I ran very fast and got home early. I think one day for the adventure and the workout, that I'll run from El Molino to my home, which is roughly 7 miles. When I got home I spent time typing up the application for acceptance to the (AP) US History class. I wrote it in 1st period drafting and 2nd period English. I think it's pretty good. I also typed up the Annie Dillard essay, and studied my vocabulary words a little. I also talked to some friends online after finishing all my work. I talked to Merlin, Jake, and to Sean. Sean has recently designed and is developing an ongoing web comic with some of his college friends. It's ridiculously funny, and is definitely cool, hip, and modern, so if you know him, ask him, and check it out. Merlin and I talked about teenage things as well, but also about the potentially growing relationship between Liz and I . . . I wonder what there is there, he's been helping me to think about it. At first I didn't think much of it, but he's been helping me notice things. That was my "day" portion of the day - tons of happiness, tons of fun, good music; overall just good times. The night was a bit different. Today is the anniversary of Jon and Sherri, the friends of our family. Yes, they were married on April Fools Day. We went out to dinner at Peking Chef, which was wonderful to say the least. I always enjoy talking to Jon, and had a great time talking to everyone. My parents and I had an argument in the car about Spring Break - they said I was ornery, I said they were myopic. Who won? Nobody. Nobody is a winner in any fight. The title originated because I was wearing one of my many dragon shirts. Someone admired it. We happened to still be at Peking Chef, so I asked Steve the owner what the symbols on my shirt meant. He said, "Dragon, Tiger, Hero, Fly." I am going to memorize the symbol for dragon for as long as I can.
Liz left a message on my machine saying, "Please have Bob give me a call back." I'm going to call back. I called back, no answer, I left a message. Take care my friends! Back
