He's an exotic dancer who performs to Everything But The Girl "Missing." He'll dance for you wearing only gold shiny shorts, gloves, shoes and occasionally black sunglasses ... but be carefull 'cause he'll put you under his spell and you won't be able to get him out of your mind forever.


The man behind the mystery, the enigma is ..... of course our beloved Chris Kattan. He dances around the stage as Mango and spreads his SEXINESS everywhere. He perfoms at numerous nightclubs eg: Beefcakes, Hardbodies, and Hotbodies.

Mango has made appearances in different episodes hosted by Brendan Fraser, Samuel L. Jackson, Garth Brooks, David Duchovny and David Spade (as Kiwi).

In every sketch the host goes to a male strip club by mistake and when he discovers it it's already too late. He has been overtaken by Mango and won't ever forget him, even after he leaves the club. He can't sleep, he can't eat. All he wants is to be with Mango. But like Mango always says - "You can't have da Mango."


The host is brokenhearted and follows Mango everywhere. He comes to the club and waits for Mango at his dressing room. But Mango's heart is cold and he throws the guest out immediately.

Mango has even tried to commit suicide because of all of this by jumping off a bridge. Fortunatelly, he was saved by the handsome David Duchovny.

So you see as long as Mango performs his art of sexy dancing The Mystery Known As .... Mango WILL ALWAYS LIVE ON!!!!
