My Love

I rush through the day to grasp for every moment
so I may bask in the sunshine of you.
My heart flutters just knowing that you await
that we may steal a second in time.
The seconds seem like hours til we are together
I am dumbstruck that I have found you.
I love you with a reckless heart that I must confine
for fate has played a twisted game with me.
There are miles between your eyes caressing mine
yet there are no barriers between our souls.
The peaceful passion that I know not to fullness
has been electrified by your magical inspiration.
In a time where my spirit was lost in a dark hole wanting,
out of the deep your candle of sweet essence shone.
And I love you with a heart of longing desire that burns
yet I fear that the gods have frowned on our forevers.
You are my hope, my wonderment, my fantasy come to life
my prayer and soft dreams as I rest in slumber.
There is no other that makes my heart sparkle like you
every word is chocolate kissed that your lips utter.
I adore you, you are my solace in a world of ravage
and I arise and sleep consumed by thoughts of only you.
And I love you with a heart that bleeds tears of joy and sorrow
joy for the precious moments, sorrow that they are so few.
My deepest heart's desire is to treasure these moments with you...
