PRAYER TO THE HOLY CHILD JESUS: O Jesus, my dear Holy Child, my only treasure, I abandon myself to Thine every whim. I seek no other joy than that of calling forth Thy sweet smile. Vouchsafe to me the graces and the virtues of Thy Holy Childhood, so that on the day of my birth into Heaven the angels may recognize in me the Child Jesus. Amen. |

ACT OF ADORATION AFTER COMMUNION I adore You present in me, Incarnate Word, Divine Infant, only begotten Son and splendor of the Father, born of the Virgin Mary. I thank You, sole Master and Truth, for Your great condescension in coming to me, ignorant and sinful as I am. With Mary, I offer You to the Father: through You, with You, in You, may there be eternal praise, thanksgiving and supplication for peace to all people. Enlighten my mind; make me a docile disciple of the Church; help me to live in faith; give me an understanding of the Scriptures; make me Your ardent apostle. Let the light of Your Gospel shine to the farthest bounds of the world.
Divine model of humility and obedience, make me similar to You. Perfect example of mortification and purity, make me similar to You. Jesus, poor and patient, make me similar to You. Jesus, exemplar of charity and ardent zeal, make me similar to You.
You are the Vine, I am the branch; I want to remain united to You always, so as to bear much fruit. You are the Wellspring; pour out an ever greater abundance of grace to sanctify my soul. You are my head, I Your member; communicate to me Your Holy Spirit with all His Gifts. May Your kingdom come through Mary. Console and save those dear to me. Free the souls in Purgatory. Multiply and sanctify those called to the apostolate.
FIRST DAY
Dear Child Jesus, Who left the bosom of the Father and came into the world for our
salvation, Who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, Who did not disdain the Virgin's womb,
and Who, being the Word made flesh, took upon Yourself the form of a servant, have
mercy on us, Child Jesus; have mercy on us.
Dear Child Jesus, Who, while in the womb of Your Virgin Mother, visited St. Elizabeth
and filled Your precursor, John the Baptist, with Your Holy Spirit, sanctifying him in his
mother's womb, have mercy on us, Child Jesus; have mercy on us.
Dear Child Jesus, whose birth was awaited with eager expectation by the Virgin Mary and
St. Joseph--You Who were offered by God the Father for the salvation of the world, have
mercy on us, Child Jesus; have mercy on us.
Dear Child Jesus, born in Bethlehem of the Virgin Mary, wrapped in swaddling clothes
and laid in a manger, heralded by angels and visited by shepherds, have mercy on us, Child
Jesus; have mercy on us.
Dear Child Jesus, wounded after eight days in Your circumcision, called by the glorious
Name of Jesus, and at once, by Your Body and by Your Blood, foreshadowed as the
Savior of the world, have mercy on us, Child Jesus; have mercy on us.
Dear Child Jesus, manifested to the Magi by the star that led them, worshipped in the arms
of Your Mother, presented with the meaningful gifts of gold, frankincense, and myrrh,
have mercy on us, Child Jesus; have mercy on us.
Dear Child Jesus, presented in the temple by Your Virgin Mother, taken up in Simeon's
arms, and revealed to Israel by Anna, a prophetess, have mercy on us, Child Jesus; have
mercy on us.
Dear Child Jesus, Who lived a holy life in the house at Nazareth, obedient to Mary and
Joseph--You Who increased in wisdom, age, and grace, and knew the weariness of
poverty and toil, have mercy on us, Child Jesus; have mercy on us.
Dear Child Jesus, You Who visited Jerusalem at twelve years of age, were sought by Your
sorrowing parents, and found with joy after three days in the midst of the teachers of the
law, have mercy on us, Child Jesus; have mercy on us.
Divine Infant of Prague, dearest Jesus, You Who so lovingly said: "Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and you shall find; knock, and it shall be opened to you," have mercy on me now, and through the intercession of our most holy Mother, I humbly ask You to grant me the grace I need. (Name your petition) Divine Infant of Prague, dearest Jesus, You Who so compassionately taught: "If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes," have pity on me now. I do believe; help me. Increase my faith and through the Blessed Mother's intercession, I humbly ask You to answer my request. (Name your petition) Divine Infant of Prague, dearest Jesus, You Who once said to the Apostles: "If you have faith even like a mustard seed, you will say to this mulberry tree, 'Be uprooted and be planted in the sea,' and it will obey you," hear my prayer, I humbly ask. Through the intercession of Mary most holy, I feel certain that my prayer will be answered. (Name your petition)
Recite 3 Our Father's in honor of the Holy Family. Recite 12 Hail Mary's in honor of the 12 years of our Divine Saviors infancy. Before each Our Father and each Hail Mary, recite: "And the Word was made flesh and dwelt among us."
CONCLUDING ASPIRATION
Jesus, Divine Infant, I, an unworthy sinner, prostrate before You, adore Your Heart, which hast so greatly loved everyone, and has spared nothing for us. I believe in Your infinite Love for us. I thank You for the great gifts which out of love You have given to humanity, especially the Gospel, the Holy Eucharist, the Church, the priesthood, the religious state, Mary our Mother, and Your very Life.
1. Jesus, Divine Infant, I thank and bless Your most generous Heart for the great gift of
the Gospel. Your Words bring eternal life. In the Gospel, You revealed the Divine
Mysteries, taught the Way of God in Truth, and offered the means to salvation. grant me
the grace to preserve Your Gospel with veneration, to listen to it, to read it according to
the spirit of the Church, and to spread it with the love with which You preached it. May it
be known, honored, and received by all. May the world conform to its life, laws, morals,
and teachings. May the fire brought by You upon the earth inflame, enlighten, and warm
everyone.
2. Jesus, Divine Infant, I thank and bless Your most lovable Heart for the great gift of the
Holy Eucharist. Your Love makes You dwell in the Tabernacle, renew Your Passion in
the Mass, and give Yourself as food for our souls in Holy Communion. May I know You,
hidden God. May I draw salutary waters from the font of Your Heart. Grant me the
grace to visit You every day in this sacrament; to understand and actively participate in
Holy Mass, and to receive Holy Communion often, with the right dispositions. Please
grant my special request (name it here). May humanity respond to Your call: "Come to
Me, all of you."
3. Jesus, Divine Infant, I bless and thank Your most sweet Heart for the great gift of the
Church. She is the Mother who instructs us in the Truth, guides us on the Way to
Heaven, and communicates supernatural life to us. She continues Your own saving
mission here on earth as Your Mystical Body. She is the ark of salvation; she is infallible,
indefectable, and Catholic. Grant me the grace to love Her as You love Her. You
sanctified Her in Your Blood. May the world know Her, may all sheep enter into Your
Fold, and may everyone humbly cooperate for the growth of Your kingdom.
4. Jesus, Divine Infant, I bless and thank Your most loving Heart for the institution of the
priesthood. Priests are sent by You, as You were sent by the Father. To them, You
entrusted the treasures of Your doctrine, of Your Law, of Your Grace, and souls
themselves. Grant me the grace to love them, to listen to them, and to let myself be
guided by them in Your Way. Jesus, send good laborers into Your Harvest. May priests
be the salt that purifies and preserves. May they be the light of the world. May they be
the city placed on the mountain. May they be formed after Your own Heart. And in
Heaven, may they be surrounded by a joyous throng of those whom the shepherded on
earth.
5. Jesus, Divine Infant, I thank Your most holy Heart for the institution of the religious
state. As in Heaven, so also on earth, the mansions are many. You have chosen Your
favored children. You have called them to evangelical perfection. You made Yourself
their model, their help, and their reward. Divine Infant, multiply religious vocations, and
sustain them in the faithful observance of their vows. may they console You, pray to You,
and work in Your honor and glory in every place.
6. Jesus, Divine Infant, I thank and bless Your most merciful Heart for having given the
Blessed Virgin Mary as our Mother, Teacher, and Queen. From the Cross, You placed us
all in Her hands. You gave Her a great Heart, much wisdom, and immense power. May
all humanity know Her, love Her, and pray to Her. May all permit themselves to be led by
Her to You, the Savior of the world. I place myself in Her hands, as You placed Yourself.
With Her as my Mother, I want to live now, at the hour of my death, and for all
eternity.
7. Jesus, Divine Infant, I thank and bless Your most meek Heart, which led You to give
Your Life for me. Your Blood, Your Wounds, the scourges, the thorns, and the Cross.
Your bowed head told me: no one loves me more than He who gives His Life for the
loved one. The Shepherd died to give life to the sheep. I, too, want to spend my life for
You. Grant that You may always, everywhere, and in all things dispose of me for Your
greater glory, and that I may always repeat: "Thy Will be done." Inflame my heart with
holy love for You and for all humanity.
