This is part of Tim Hebert�s wonderful Acadian-Cajun site, but it contains many useful Acadian census listings.  Didn�t want anyone to miss this one!

Yvon Cyr�s �pick of the litter� Acadian webpage!  Tons of things to do at this site including a chat room, information on obtaining the Acadian-Cajun CD which contains over 500,000 names, and a surname list that just keeps on going and going...
 

Acadian Roots

You�ll definitely want to visit this site!  You can link to individual pages that give a brief history of some of the early families to settle in Acadia.  Very interesting reading, even if you don�t find all of your families recorded here. You can also contact the Centres Acadien by email from this site.

Wow!  Plenty to see and do at this site!  Most text is in French, but links are all in English, and there are lots and lots of them.  Many useful documents from Acadia, France, and Louisiana.

Linda W. Jones (nee Babbin) gives some useful tips and hints for beginning Acadian research, links to sites, and genealogy of her Acadian surnames such as Babin, Bujold, Hebert, and Porier.  Includes a bibliography of sources to get you started. 

Ile Saint Jean (Prince Edward Island) 1752 Census

Census records, maps, and brief histories of the village included in the census.  Excellent site for anyone with links to Ile Saint Jean, or just for background information on the area.
