6. John P.² Baker (Joseph¹) was born June 25,1847. John died 1916 at 69 years of age.

He married Jane Zehner. Jane was born abt 1852. Jane was the daughter of Peter Zehner and Harriet Zehner. Jane died Apr 27 1932 at 79 years of age. Worked at the Indianna glass works, was the oldest child of his parents, to reach adulthood. he had no church affiliation and is buried at Oakland cemetery, Indiana,Pa.

Hanna Baker bought a small farm in Whit Twp Ind Co., in 1850. The seller was Charles A. Meade and wife. John Baker sold this property to Catherine Signer on March 25, 1910.

John P. Baker and Jane Zehner had the following children:

19 iii. Mary Baker was born on (birth date unknown).

+ 20 iv. Peter J. Baker was born 1882.

21 v. Charles Baker was born Oct 1885. Charles died 1977 at 91 years of age. He married Cora Manners. Worked for three years at Blairsville's P.R.R. engine house. He was the 3 shift electrician and he had to come down on the 7:30 train every evening. This was in 1919.
