For the students who want to continue their interests but not major in the arts Benedictine has many flexible choices available. Minors for music or fine art programs are disponible. Qualification for a Music Talent Award will be applicable to those who are accepted to the University.
Those who are in a fine or performing arts minor can study voice or an instrument through private lessons as one of their regularly scheduled courses or take a studio art course to learn more about creating art. Taking any art course is highly encouraged and required as a core elective with Benedictine's balance of liberal arts education.
Performing in any of our choral and instrumental ensembles enables you to earn credit towards graduation at the same time. The other option for minors is to study more about music or art through the many courses we offer to satisfy your core requirements and elective opportunities.
