It�s 1:46 AM and Blake starts crying. Philip wakes up immediately and decides to let Chloe sleep. He remembers what Leilani told them about checking to see if the diaper is wet first before doing anything else. So he checks it and lovingly says, �It looks like Daddy�s little boy did both # 1 and # 2�. He grabs a Pamper as well as the baby wipes and the baby powder. He takes the dirty diaper off then cleans him up really good. He lifts Blake�s little bottom up then places the Pamper underneath him. He then splashes some baby powder on him then tapes both sides of it up.

He wraps the blanket around him then picks him up. He cradles him in his arms then goes over and sits in the rocking chair in the corner. Philip can�t believe how great this feels holding his son in his arms. Blake is looking at him and it looks like he�s smiling. Philip says, �You�re a happy little guy, aren�t you? Daddy loves you�.

He kisses him on the cheek and takes his little hand in his then rocks him for a while. Chloe wakes up and sees Philip rocking Blake and is thinking: Blake/Amanda are so lucky to have such a great Daddy and I�m so blessed to have such a wonderful Hubby. Amanda starts crying and Chloe gets up and goes to her. Blake starts crying as well and Philip says, �Well, I�ve already changed Blake�s diaper so I�ll bet he�s not only crying because Amanda is but that he�s hungry. He�s been sucking on his knuckles�.

Chloe says, �Well, why don�t you give him to me then I�ll feed him while you check Amanda�s diaper to see if it needs changing�. Philip smiles then says, �All right sweetheart�. He gently places Blake in Chloe�s arms then kisses her on the cheek. Chloe goes over to the rocking chair and sits down with Blake in her arms then starts breastfeeding him. He�s really hungry and Chloe laughs because he�s making so much noise. As Philip is changing Amanda he says, �What�s so funny Baby�? She says, �Can you hear the noise he�s making as he�s nursing�?

Philip now has a Pamper on Amanda and wraps her back up in her blanket then cradles her in his arms. He walks over to Chloe and starts laughing. Chloe says, �I�ll bet Blake takes after his Daddy�. Philip says, �What do you mean�? She says, �Well�you know how you are a bottomless pit�? He laughs and says, �Who? Me�? Chloe raises her eyebrow and says, �Yeah you�! Philip grabs the other rocking chair and places it close to the one Chloe is in then Amanda cries again. Chloe says, �Well, it looks like Blake is still going at it strong. Why don�t you go over to the bed and get the pillow for me�.

Philip does then brings it back to her. She says, �If you�ll lay Amanda down in her bed for just a second I think if you place that pillow underneath Blake then place Amanda on it as well, that I can try and feed both of them at the same time�. Philip lays Amanda in her bed then gently lifts Blake up and places it underneath him. He picks Amanda up then places her on it as well then she starts nursing. Philip smiles then says, �I need to get a picture of this�. He walks over to his bag and pulls out his digital camera as well as his camcorder.

Chloe knows how great Philip is but Philip never ceases to amaze her. She thinks he�s got to be the sweetest, most loving and caring man alive. Philip lays everything down on the bed then takes the camcorder and says, �Smile Mommy�. Chloe smiles then Philip gets a close-up of Blake/Amanda nursing. He says, �Amanda is so dainty. You can tell she�s hungry but she just doesn�t go at it like Blake does�. Chloe looks at both of them and says, �I wonder if I�ll have enough breast milk for the both of them�.

Leilani walks in and says, �Looks like you�ve learned how to handle breastfeeding both Blake/Amanda at the same time, Chloe. How does it feel to be awake at this hour of the morning feeding your twins�? She smiles then says, �It�s really great, and I have the most amazing and wonderful Hubby. He�s changed both Blake�s/Amanda�s diapers and is really a great Father�.

Philip smiles then says, �Smile Leilani�. She turns around and says, �No�no! I don�t take very good pictures�. Philip says, �Now come on Leilani! Chloe/I want you in these pictures�. She says, �Oh all right. But I expect the two of you to drop by every now and then so I can see my babies and how much they�ve grown�. Chloe says, �You can count on that�.

Dr. Campbell walks in the room and says, �It looks like our babies are nursing really well. You�re a natural Chloe. How are the two of you feeling�? Chloe says, �Fine. I was just wondering if you can answer a question for me�. Dr. Campbell says, �What would you like to know Chloe�? She says, �Blake really has an appetite and acts like he can�t get enough. Can you hear the noises he�s making while he�s nursing? Anyway, I was just wondering if I�ll have enough breast milk for the two of them�.

Dr. Campbell walks over to Chloe and laughs. She says, �Blake is sure going to town! As far as your having enough breast milk for the two of them Chloe, I usually say �yes�, but we�ll just have to wait and see. If it looks like you don�t have enough breast milk for the two of them, we�ll just supplement them with a bottle�.

Chloe says, �Well, I�m hoping I won�t have to give then a bottle until they are at least 6 months old because it�s better for them to only have mother�s milk, right�? She says, �Most definitely�. Philip says, �When can I take my family home�? Dr. Campbell says, �Anxious to get out of here, huh�? Philip says, �Well yeah. It�s really nice here and all but I�d prefer to have my family all to myself�.

Dr. Campbell says, �Well, as far as I�m concerned Chloe is perfectly healthy and there have been absolutely no complications so I�ll go get the paperwork started right now. I�ll send one of the nurses back in with some forms you need to sign, then once that happens, you are free to go. BUT, I want to see you in 6 weeks for yours/the twins check-up. I want you to feel free to call me anytime before that if you have any questions or anything, all right�?

Chloe says, �All right, Sarah. Thanks�. She says, �I have another patient whose about to deliver so I�ll see you in 6 weeks�. Philip says, �Leilani, can you and Dr. Campbell stand over by Chloe so I can get you on tape�? Both do and he tapes them. He then says, �Leilani, can you tape Dr. Campbell, Chloe, our twins, and myself�? She smiles and says, �Sure�. So she does. Dr. Campbell and Leilani say their goodbyes then leave.

Philip lays the camcorder down then walks over to Chloe. He gets down on his knees then looks into her eyes and says, �It looks like both of our babies are sound asleep. Do you want me to put them in their beds�? She smiles then kisses his cheek and says, �Sure. But remember we have to burp them first�.

So Philip takes Amanda and Chloe says, �Hubby, you�ll need to grab a couple of those diapers over on the table�. He brings a diaper for Chloe to put over her shoulder then puts one over his shoulder as well. Chloe lays Blake�s head on her shoulder as she gently pats his little back. He lets out a big burp. Chloe/Philip both laugh then he does the same with Amanda. She lets out an even bigger burp and Chloe says, �It�s a good thing we did that�.

Philip rocks Amanda in his arms for a little bit then she quickly goes back to sleep. He gently lays her down in her bed then goes over to Chloe and says, �Would you like me to take him�? She says, �Sure�. So he rocks him for a little bit then he goes back to sleep. He gently lays him down in the bed then kisses him on the forehead.

He does the same to Amanda then walks over to Chloe, who is now standing and she says, �Can Mommy have a kiss�? Philip lovingly looks in her eyes then wraps his arms around her waist. She wraps hers around his neck and he gently presses his lips against hers then they kiss. She breaks away and says, �I love you Hubby�. He says, �And I love you Baby�. They walk over to the beds and he holds her tight as they look at their twins sleeping peacefully.

It is now 7:00 AM and Craig/Kate peek in the door, only to be followed by Victor, Nancy, Grandma Miller, and Auntie Fran. Craig says, �Are grandparents, a great grandparent, and an Auntie Fran welcome�? Chloe laughs and says, �Sure you are but you�ll have to be a little quiet because we just got the twins to sleep�. All of them come into the room and are as quiet as churchmouses and just marvel at their grandbabies and how absolutely beautiful they are. Craig says, �Well, Leilani told us that you are being discharged within the hour so Chloe sweetie, why don�t you get dressed and we�ll watch the babies for you�? Chloe walks over and gives everyone a hug then says, �I�d really like to take a quick shower if that�s all right with everyone�.

Philip says, �Do you need me to help you sweetheart�? She kisses his forehead and says, �If you�ll just bring my bag into the bathroom I think I can do the rest�. He walks over and gets her bag for her then places it in the bathroom. He kisses her then she takes her shower. Victor says, �Auntie Fran, can you watch the babies for a few minutes�? She smiles then says, �Sure�.

So Victor, Nancy, Craig, Kate, and Grandma Miller go out into the hall. Victor hands Philip a cigar as does Craig. It�s not a real cigar but one that is made of solid chocolate and it is huge. Philip smiles then says, �MMM�my favorite�. Victor says, �We bought Chloe solid milk chocolate in the shape of a heart. Do you think she�ll like it�? Philip says, �Absolutely. She loves any kind of chocolate and especially milk chocolate�.

Chloe is now dressed and walks out of her room and says, �Did I hear someone mention milk chocolate�? Philip gently grabs her and puts his arms around her. He looks into her eyes and says, �Milk chocolate Baby. Does my beautiful wife and new Mommy want some milk chocolate�? Chloe raises her eyebrow and says, �Always! Who�s got it? Where is it�? Everyone laughs then Victor hands her a huge heart made with milk chocolate and Craig gives her one as well.

She says, �Dad, this won�t hurt Blake/Amanda will it�? Craig says, �Well, not as long as you don�t eat both of these in one sitting�. Chloe says, �Well I�d better enjoy this candy because after I eat it I�m gonna need to go on a strict diet�. Philip says, �Baby, I have to tell you your stomach looks like it�s already almost completely back to normal�. She says, �Well, will you work out with me so I can get completely back into shape�? He says, �Sure I will sweetheart�.

Leilani has a bunch of papers to sign so she says, �I�ll need both of you to sign these papers then you can leave�. So Philip/Chloe head into the room and sign the papers. Leilani gives them their copies then gives them both a hug. She says, �Now remember to bring those beautiful babies of yours back to see us�. Chloe says, �Don�t worry, we will�. So she says, �Take care now�. She leaves.

Philip says, �Well I guess we should head home so we can get Blake /Amanda settled into their room. I still have a lot to do in there as well as getting all of that furniture that we ordered that just came in into place�. Victor says, �Well, we�ll let the four of you be alone for the rest of the day but would love to come over in the morning to see the two of you/our grandbabies, if that�s all right with the two of you�? Philip/Chloe both say, �That sounds like a good idea�. Nancy says, �Mother/I will be staying in the cottage with Auntie Fran because that guest house is huge�. Kate says, �Well, let me go kiss our precious babies then we need to leave�. So everyone leaves but Philip/Chloe.

Chloe kisses Philip then says, �Well Daddy, which one do you want to carry out to the truck�? Amanda starts crying so he says, I�ll take this little punkin�. An orderly walks into the room with a wheelchair and says, �Didn�t Leilani tell you that it is hospital policy to wheel all patients out of the hospital and into a waiting car or truck�? Chloe says, �But I feel fine and can walk out of here�. He says, �I�m sorry but I have to do this or I�ll get into trouble�. So Chloe sits down in the wheelchair and Sally, one of the RN�s on the floor hands Blake to Chloe. They head out of the room and out of the Hospital.

Their Suburban is sitting in the circular drive and Philip says, �Who did this for us�? The orderly says, �Some guy named Craig did it and gave me the keys, so here they are�. Philip places Amanda next to Chloe while he opens the door to put the babies in their new car seats. He then takes them one by one then places them into their car seats and places the seatbelt around them as they should be, then opens the door for Chloe. She gets into the truck then thanks the orderly for his help. Philip gets into the truck then they leave.

Philip uses his remote to open the gate then opens the garage door then drives into it and closes it back down. He then opens the door for Chloe and gently picks her up then kisses her. He says, �Do you want me to take the babies into the house and put them in their beds or do you feel like you can carry one of them�? Chloe pulls him close to her then wraps her arms around his neck. She looks into his eyes and says, �Hubby, have I told you lately just how much I love you�? He raises his eyebrow and says, �I don�t remember. It�s been sooooo long�. They laugh then he kisses her. He breaks away and says, �Well Mommy, we�d better get out little �punkins� out of their car seats and into their beds�. So Chloe takes Blake while Philip takes Amanda. They head into the house.

Philip/Chloe walk from the garage into the kitchen and are totally in shock. All of the dishes and their things have been neatly put away. The kitchen is spotless and has a vase filled with a dozen red roses in it. They continue walking into the living room/great room to see that all of their furniture they ordered has been put where Chloe had told Nancy/Kate she�s put them when she got out of the hospital. There are beautiful ferns in planters placed all over the room.

Chloe says, �Oh Hubby! Did you do this? Or were our parents responsible for this�? He says, �I wish I could take credit for it but I can�t. I�m just as surprised by all of this as you are�. He says, �Well, it looks like Dad bought that bassinet that holds two babies I it. Instead of having them all the way in their Nursery we can lay them sown in here while we�re watching tv or whatever�. Chloe says, �Sounds like a good idea to me�.

They continue walking through the house to see that everything has been done and it is spotless. They walk into their bedroom to see another bassinet that can hold two babies in it sitting right next to their bed. They walk into the Nursery to see that the furniture and cribs have been placed where Chloe wanted them, but the decorating has yet to be done because they knew Chloe wanted it to be a project she/Philip could work on together.

Philip says, �Well it sounds like Amanda is getting a little fussy. I guess I�d better check to see if she needs to be changed�. So he gently lays her down on the changing table, which accommodates two babies being changed at the same time. Chloe lays Blake down then checks to see if he�s wet. Philip has already changed Amanda but she starts crying so Chloe takes her then sits in the rocker with her and lets her nurse. Philip is left to change Blake�s dirty diaper. He gets him all cleaned up then places a Pampers under his little bottom then he gets a surprise. He forgot what his Mother and all of the nurses had warned them about. Philip didn�t hold his hand above Blake�s privates and his shirt as well as his chest is wet.

He laughs then Chloe says, �It looks like Daddy forgot the golden rule when it comes to little baby boys, didn�t he�? Philip says, �Daddy just melts when our babies look at him and he just forgot. Baby, they sure are beautiful babies. Blake is sucking on his knuckles again and looks like he�s about to cry so you know what that means Mommy�. Chloe smiles then says, �Well it looks like little Miss Amanda has gone back to sleep. Why don�t we go into our bedroom and put her in the bassinet, then I�ll nurse Blake and rock him to sleep then put him in with her. Then you/I can lie down together on the bed and just hold each other for a while. So she feeds Blake then he quickly goes back to sleep.

Philip lies down next to Chloe and wraps his arms around her. They talk for a while then Philip presses a button and all of the doors in the house are secure. He kisses her then they fall asleep in each others arms.

The phone rings in the kitchen and Philip quickly gets up and runs to get it before the twins as well as Chloe wake up. He makes it into the kitchen then answers to hear Craig say, �Well, we decided we can�t take it any longer. Do you think we could all come over and see the babies. We also have a plan that we think you�ll like�. Philip laughs then says, �Blake/Amanda are asleep right now but I guess it would be all right if you guys came over as long as you�re quiet. What is this plan of yours�?

Craig says, �Well�.we�ve ordered Chinese food because we know Chloe will eat that. We�d love to come over and share it with the two of you. What do you say�? Philip says, �Let me run in to see if Chloe is awake yet�. Craig says, �I�ll hold�. So Philip runs into their bedroom then sees that Chloe is holding a crying Blake. Amanda starts crying then Chloe says, �Daddy, can you pick her up for me�? Philip says, �Dad, can you please hang on a minute�?

Craig laughs then says, �All right Son. Attend to Amanda�. Philip sets the phone down then picks Amanda up and she stops crying immediately�. Philip kisses her little cheek and says, �You know what Daddy thinks little Miss Amanda? Daddy thinks you�ve got him wrapped around this little pinkie of yours. Amanda cries, Daddy picks her up, then she smiles. Yeah�.that�s what my baby girl is doing, isn�t she�? Chloe smiles then says, �Hubby, if Blake/Amanda are this spoiled already�we�re in trouble because the grandparents haven�t even had a chance to spoil them yet�.

Philip is cradling Amanda in his arms then says, �Baby, Dad wants to know if they can come over and see the babies, and they�ve ordered Chinese food to bribe us with�. Chloe laughs then says, �Awww�.that�s so sweet. I think we should allow them to come over anytime they like and they don�t have to bribe us to do so. But tell Dad that as long as they ordered it to come on over. I�m starving�. Philip picks up the phone and all he hears is the dial tone and laughs.

Before he can say a word he hears the doorbell ringing. He/Chloe walk to the front door then he opens it to find Craig, Kate, Auntie Fran, Grandma Miller, Nancy, Lucas, and Will standing there. Craig is holding a box filled with quarts of Chinese food then Kate is carrying another one. He says, �Well don�t just leave us standing out here. Invite us in�. Philip laughs and says, �Come on in�. Craig and Kate run into the kitchen then place the boxes down on the counter only to run back into the entryway to look at their precious grandbabies. Chloe looks at Philip then says, �Well Daddy, why don�t we let the grandparents hold them. I know they are just dying to do so�.

So Philip gently places Amanda in Craig�s arms then Chloe gently places Blake in Kate�s arms. Both Craig/Kate are making faces at the babies and sound absolutely out of character because they�re talking baby talk to Blake/Amanda. Philip says, �Well why don�t all of us go into the kitchen then we can eat�. So they head into the kitchen with Philip holding Chloe�s hand. Philip whispers in Chloe�s ear, �I love you Mrs. K.�. Chloe says, �And I love you Mr. K. Now how about we get something to eat�.

Nancy, Auntie Fran, and Mrs. Miller have taken it upon themselves to set plates, silverware, and glasses and drinks out so everyone can get started eating. Nancy says, �Chloe sweetheart, we got extra broccoli with beef and sauce knowing that you love it�. Chloe smiles then Philip fills his plate with pork fried rice, pork chow mein, egg foo yung, beef/broccoli, and sweet/sour pork. Chloe digs the broccoli out and leaves the beef in the box, then gets a little pork chow mein, pork fried rice, and egg foo yung on her plate. Lucas says, �I think I�ll have a lot of everything then piles his plate full. Will says, �What about me Daddy�? Lucas says, �How about we get you a little plate and Daddy will put some of the food I have on my plate on it for you�? Will smiles then carries a little plate with him as he/Lucas make it over to the table.

Nancy, Grandma Miller, and Auntie Fran have also filled their plates then all of them go sit at the huge oak dinner table. Philip puts his plate on the table then pulls Chloe�s chair out for her then she sits down. He then pulls all of the ladies chairs out for them then they sit down. Nancy says, �You are quite the gentleman Philip. Thanks for being so considerate of all of us older ladies�. Philip smiles then says, �It�s my pleasure�. He then walks over to Craig/Kate who are sitting in the rocking chairs in the great room with the babies.

Philip says, �Would you guys like to go eat first and I�ll take care of Blake/Amanda�? Craig says, �I can eat after while. Look Son, Amanda is smiling at me�. Philip says, �She did that to me earlier. She�s quite the little charmer. She cries like someone is hurting her then when I pick the little punkin up she stops crying right away�. Craig laughs then says, �Typical female�they wrap their little fingers around us so easily�. Philip walks over to Kate and she says, �I know what you�re going to ask me and the answer is No. I�m enjoying my newest Grandson then I plan on switching with Craig and playing with my Granddaughter�. Philip says, �All right! I�m gonna go eat then�. Craig says, �Just be sure and leave us just a little bit Philip. That�s all I ask�. He laughs then goes to sit next to Chloe.

Chloe says, �Where�s Grandpa Vic�? Philip says, �He had some business to attend to and said he�d call before he comes over�. Chloe says, �Well you know what I�d love to do after we eat�? Philip says, �What�s that sweetheart�? She says, �Wrap Blake/Amanda up in their receiving blankets so the sun won�t hurt their little eyes and you carry one of them and I�ll carry the other one then we can take them for their first of many walks along the beach. It�s so beautiful out today. I�ve missed our long walks on the beach Hubby�.

Craig hears this and says, �Sounds like a good idea but remember to put hats on Blake/Amanda�. Nancy says, �Well I�m finished eating and would like to be excused so I can clean this mess up then I need to take my turn holding my grandbabies before the two of you kick us out of here�. Kate gets up then changes babies with Craig knowing that they have to share them with the others. She sits back down and Craig says, �Blake sure loves sucking those knuckles of his, doesn�t he�?

Nancy walks over to the bag of things she bought for the babies and pulls out two pacifiers with little animals on the edge of them. One is pink and one is blue. She takes them over to Craig/Kate then they place them in their mouths. Amanda takes to hers right away but when Craig places Blake�s in his mouth he spits it out then returns to sucking on his knuckles. Kate laughs then says, �I can�t believe this! Philip did the same thing and NEVER accepted a pacifier. It was always back to the old knuckles�.

Philip says, �Well, Mrs. K. are you ready to get up from the table�? She says, �I�m really full. I�m gonna need to walk off all of this food I just ate�. He kisses her cheek then gets up and pulls her chair out for her. He then goes over and pulls chairs out for Grandma Miller, and Auntie Fran. Chloe/Philip walk over to Craig/Kate then Philip stands behind Chloe and wraps his arms around her waist. He gently lays his head on her shoulder as they look at Craig/Kate making complete fools out of themselves making goo goo eyes and talking baby talk to the babies.

Nancy says, �Well, it�s my turn now. So which one of you is going to let me hold one of my grandbabies first�? Craig looks at Kate then says, �Oh all right. I�ll let you have him just long enough for me to eat�. He gets up then Nancy sits down and Craig places Blake in her arms. She does the same as Craig/Kate and makes faces at Blake then talks baby talk to him. Philip whispers in Chloe�s ear, �Baby, I�m gonna go get the camcorder. I�ll be right back�. She whispers, �You�d better leave quietly and maybe they won�t notice you�re gone�. He says, �Be right back�.

Philip goes into the bedroom and places a new tape in the camcorder then unplugs the power supply because he�s just charged it up knowing that he�d be taking plenty of pictures. He quickly puts the strap around his neck then quietly walks back into the room and stands next to Chloe. He starts videotaping them and Nancy says, �Philip! I don�t take good pictures�. He smiles then says, �Sure you do. Smile you two�. They both smile then exchange babies as Philip continues taping everyone in the room.

He gets a shot of Craig wolfing down his egg foo yung. Craig says, �Oh you had to catch me while I�m over here gorging myself on egg foo yung, didn�t you�? Philip laughs then says, �But of course, Dad�. Craig walks over to the sink and washes his hands then says, �Let me have that thing for a second Philip�. Philip removes the strap from around his neck then lets Craig tape for a while. Craig says, �Now I want all of you to surround the two grandmas holding our precious babies. Then I want you to say �Cheese�.

Everyone gathers around and stand in back of the rocking chairs then say, �Cheese� as Craig tapes them. Nancy then gets up and lets Grandma Miller hold Amanda then Kate says, �Well, I guess you get to hold Blake Auntie Fran�. So Kate gets up then Auntie Fran sits in the rocking chair as Kate gently places him in her arms. They hold the babies for a little bit then exchange them. After about 20 minutes Craig/Nancy have cleaned up the kitchen then put the remaining food into the refrigerator. Lucas says, �Well I think Will and I need to be going so we�re going to walk down the beach and back to Mom�s house if you don�t mind. Let me give my little niece and nephew a kiss then we�re going to head out�.

So he takes Will�s hand then they go look at the babies. Will says, �Daddy, they are so small and cute. Can I kiss them on their cheeks�? Lucas says, �I�m sure Uncle Philip and Aunt Chloe won�t mind if you do that�. Chloe smiles then says, �It�s all right Will. Go ahead�. He does then Lucas kisses both of them on the forehead then he/Will leave. Craig sees that Chloe is anxious to be alone with Philip and their babies so he says, �Well all right gang, let�s all head back over to Kate�s/my place and let these two go for their walk�. So everyone says their goodbyes then leave.

Chloe is carrying Amanda and Philip is carrying Blake then Chloe says, �Well Daddy, let�s change them then wrap them up really good in their receiving blankets and put their little hats on�. So they head into the Nursery and do just that. They are now ready to go and Philip says, �Do you want to just hold them or strap their carriers around our necks and carry them that way�? Chloe says, �I think I�d rather just carry Amanda in my arms this time�. He says, �All right. I�ll just grab the diaper bag then we�re set to go�. So he does then they head out the back door then down a walkway to the back fence.

He pushes the remote and the gate opens. They walk out onto the beach then Chloe says, �This is heaven, living here in this beautiful new home with such lush landscape and in the town of Lihue, on the beautiful island of Kauai. I love the cool breezes and the blue skies here. The water in the ocean is so beautiful and blue. MMM�This is truly Paradise Hubby�. He moves over close to her as they hold their babies and says, �It sure is and the best part is spending the rest of my life with the most beautiful woman in the world and our two beautiful and precious little punkins�.

He kisses her then says, �I love you Mrs. K�. And I love you Blake and Amanda�. She says, �And I love you Mr. K.�. And I love you Blake and Amanda�.
