Blake starts crying and sucking on his knuckles and Philip says, �Well it looks like we�re gonna have to go back home so Mommy can feed this starving little guy of ours�. Chloe smiles and says, �Yeah it�s about that time again�. So they head back to the house. Philip uses his remote to open the gate and they walk up the walkway and back into the house. The phone is ringing so Philip quickly goes over to answer it. Blake is still crying so Philip says, �I�m sorry can you hold on a second�? Victor says, �Sure Son�. Chloe is in the great room and lays Amanda down in the bassinet then sits down in the rocking chair. Philip gives Blake to Chloe then he starts nursing. Philip runs back to get the phone and says, �Dad I�m sorry. We went for a walk on the beach and took Blake/Amanda and Blake was hungry so we cut our walk short. Chloe is feeding him now. What�s up�?

Victor says, �I was just wondering if I could stop by for a few minutes before they go to sleep. I just want to hold them for a little bit then I�ll get out of your hair�. Philip says, �Hold on a second Dad�. Victor says, �All right Son�. Philip puts the phone down then goes over to Chloe and says, �Baby, do you mind if Dad comes over for a few minutes to hold the babies�? Chloe says, �No�just tell him to come on over. Philip kisses her then says, �You�re the best Baby�. He picks up the phone then says, �Dad, come on over�. Victor says, �All right Son. See you in a few�. They hang up.

Philip walks over to Chloe and says, �I�ve never seen Dad act like this before. I know he has a lot of work to do but Blake/Amanda are more important to him now. He�s gonna be spending a lot of time with them now�. Chloe smiles then says, �Hubby I�m so happy that our families seem to be getting along now and Blake/Amanda will have all of them in their lives. I missed that and I want only the best for our little �punkins�. Philip kisses her cheek and the doorbell rings. He goes to answer it.

Philip laughs and says, �That was quick Dad�! Victor says, �Hey I�ve been waiting forever to see my grandbabies�. Chloe covers her exposed breast with a receiving blanket then Victor says, �How�s our new Mommy doing�? She smiles and says, �Just fine Dad�. Amanda starts crying and Victor quickly goes over to the bassinet and says, �Ohhhh what�s wrong with Grandpa�s favorite little girl�? He gently picks her up and cradles her in his arms and says, �Ahhh�now isn�t that better�? Philip looks at Chloe and they both melt because of the tenderness Victor is showing towards Amanda�.

Chloe says, �Well Grandpa she already has her Daddy wrapped around her little pinkie and it looks like she�s got you wrapped around it as well�. Victor smiles and says, �What are grandbabies for if you can�t spoil them rotten? You�re such a beautiful little girl little miss Amanda�. He gives her little kisses all over her face and he says, �Philip! She�s smiling�.

Philip says, �I think she is Dad. She loves her Grandpa�. Victor goes over to the other rocker and sits down with her. He looks over at Blake and says, �Well it looks like my favorite little boy takes after his Daddy�Always eating�. He/Chloe laugh and Philip says, �Hey you two, Blake�s a growing boy just like his Daddy�. Everyone laughs then Amanda starts crying and sucking on her two middle fingers on her right hand.

Chloe says, �Blake isn�t asleep but he�s finally finished eating. Hubby please take him and place him in the bassinet then give Amanda to me so she can nurse�. He gently picks Blake up then does just that. He starts crying but Victor gives Amanda to Philip and he then gives her to Chloe. Philip picks Blake up then says, �Are you spoiled Son�? Victor says, �That�s how we like em��. So Philip gently gives him to Victor. Victor says, �You sure like those knuckles of yours, don�t you? Ahhh Grandpa�s favorite little boy is so handsome".

He gives him little kisses all over his face and Victor says, �He�s smiling too. Look at those dimples�. Philip/Chloe�s hearts melt once again because Victor has shown so much tenderness toward Blake and Amanda. Victor cradles him in his arms then Chloe says, �Oh before I forget Grandpa, he needs to be burped. Would you mind�? Victor says, �Of course not. Philip, please give me a diaper to throw over my shoulder�.

So Philip hands one to him and he places Blake on his shoulder then gently pats his little back. He lets out a couple of burps then Victor says, "It seems like only yesterday I was doing this to Philip". He once again cradles him in his arms then takes his little hand in his and says, �I�ve always felt like once a man became a Grandfather that it was the end of the world because it meant you�re getting really old, but the opposite is true. I love this feeling. Thank you kids for giving me two most precious grandbabies�.

Chloe says, �Thank you for being such a warm and loving Dad and Grandpa�. Victor says, �Thank you for that Chloe. It means a lot to me that you think that of me especially after the way I�ve treated you in the past�. Chloe smiles and says, �That�s all water under the bridge as far as I�m concerned�. Victor says, �You�re one amazing young woman Mrs. K�.

Philip goes over to her then kneels down beside her and looks into her eyes and says, �She sure is Dad. Now you know why I took drastic measures so she/I could be together�. Victor says, �Yeah, and if I would�ve been in your shoes I would�ve done the same thing. You know you/I are a lot alike Son�. Philip says, �I know we are Dad�. Victor gets a call on his cell phone so Philip takes Blake from him. Victor gets up and answers it. He talks for a few minutes then says, �Well you two it appears dinner is ready. Would you like to join me�? Philip /Chloe look at one another then Philip says, �Can we take a rain check on that Dad�? Victor says, �You sure can Son. I�ll talk to you soon�. Philip/Chloe say their goodbyes then he leaves.

It�s 6:00 AM and Philip wakes up to see that the twins as well as Chloe are still asleep. He quietly gets up and places the blanket back over Blake/Amanda then tiptoes out of the bedroom and goes into the kitchen. He picks up the phone and says, �Hey Mom, how�s it going this morning�? She says, �Oh we�re doing fine. Is everything all right with the twins�? Philip says, �They�re still asleep and so is Chloe. We stayed up pretty late with both Blake/Amanda because Blake was colicky. He screamed so loud that Amanda couldn�t sleep. Anyway, I just decided to let Chloe sleep in for a change because I have a surprise in store for her�.

Kate says, �What kind of a surprise Son�? He says, �Well first of all, I need a favor from you/Dad�. She says, �And�? He says, �Would you guys take care of Blake/Amanda tonight for us�? Kate says, �We�ve been dying to do that Philip�. He says, �All right. Well, you know Chloe/the twins have their 6-week check-up today, right�? She says, �Yeah�. He says, �Well if Dr. Campbell says everything is all right with the twins as well as Chloe, I�d like to spend a night alone with my wife�.

Kate says, �I think that�s an excellent idea Philip. The two of you haven�t been separated from the twins since they were born and deserve some time alone and to relax. You know to kind of get reacquainted as husband and wife�. He says, �That�s what I thought. I�m either gonna take her out to dinner or have it brought here. I think I�ll do the latter though because it�s more comfortable here�. Kate says, �That sounds good to me�.

Philip starts to say something then feels two arms wrap around his waist. He says, �Mom, I�ll talk to you later all right�? Kate says, �All right Son. Just let me know when to expect you over with the twins�. He says, �I will Mom�Thanks. Later�. She hangs up. Chloe kisses the back of his neck and says, �I love our babies and everything but it�s been sooo long since we�ve been together like this and�well you know�. Philip turns around and says, �I want you too Chloe. This past 6 weeks has been wonderful, but at the same time very difficult�I�ve missed you. I�ve missed holding you in my arms and getting as close to you as I can get. I need you and need to make love to you. BUT, we have to wait for the ok from Dr. Campbell�.

Chloe says, "Well I�m sure everything will be all right and maybe�. He says, �Maybe what�? She says, �You know we haven�t asked the grandparents to babysit for us since Blake/Amanda were born, except for a few minutes each time. So why don�t we give them a chance to do it tonight? All I have to do is use the breast pump and put the milk in bottles then we�ll be able to be together tonight�. He smiles and says, �Sounds like you/I are on the same page. I already talked to Mom and she said they�ve been dying to take care of Blake/Amanda for us and would love to do this for us tonight. You deserve some pampering for a change�. She says, �And so do you Hubby. MMM�I can�t wait to have you hold me in your arms and make love to me again. I�ve sure missed you Hubby�.

He wraps his arms around her waist then kisses her. This kiss gets really intense and he pulls away. He says, �Whoa! We�d better stop now or we�ll end up making love here on the kitchen floor�. She raises her eyebrow and says, �MMM�I could go for that but�well we�d better get the twins cleaned up as well as ourselves so we�ll be at our appointment on time�. Philip smiles then says, �I know sweetheart. But tonight we�ll make up for it. All right�? She says, �MMM�Definitely Hubby. I can�t wait�. He says, �Well let�s eat something then you can take your shower first while I watch the twins�. She says, �MMM�I wish you could take one with me but I�ll wait until later�. He says, �Ooh sounds good to me sweetheart�.

They eat then Chloe goes in and takes her shower. Philip is in their bedroom and has taken his clothes off. She steps out of the shower then dries herself off. He walks in and she says, �God Hubby. I don�t know if I�m gonna be able to wait until tonight. Just the thought of making love to you has me turned on beyond belief and then�then seeing you like this well�you know it�s getting really warm in here�.

He pulls her close to him then pulls her towel off and says, �It is definitely warm in here but I�m gonna just give you a preview of what�s to come tonight �. Her heart is racing as he kisses her neck then makes his way down to her breasts and squeezes and kisses them. He makes his way back up to her lips then places his tongue in her mouth and lets it dance around inside as he kisses her passionately. She has to break away for air then Blake starts crying.

Chloe says, �MMM�Hubby�lets hurry and get this appointment over with and maybe we can start this evening out a lot sooner�. He says, �Ooh, I love that idea�. She kisses him again then breaks away when Blake starts screaming. He says, �Do you want me to take care of him�? Chloe says, �No I think he�s hungry so go ahead and take your shower and I�ll nurse him before we get them cleaned up for their first appointment�. He says, �All right sweetheart. I�ll be finished in a few�. He steps into the shower then Chloe goes back into the bedroom and picks Blake up. She sits in the rocking chair with him then he starts to nurse.

Philip has now gotten out of the shower and has dried himself off. He wraps the towel around his lower body then walks into the bedroom just in time because Amanda is now crying. Chloe says, �Hubby can you take him so I can get up�? He says, �Sure�. So he picks him up then takes him over to the changing table in the Nursery and takes his clothes off but leaves his diaper on. He walks into the bathroom where a little tub has been built to give them their baths in. He makes sure the water is nice and warm then takes his diaper off and starts bathing him. Chloe walks in carrying a nude Amanda and places her in the tub as well. The babies are making all kinds of noises and Chloe says, �Oh Hubby, they are just so cute when they make those little noises. Our little �punkins� are sure happy�. He smiles and says, "They sure are".

Chloe says, �Hubby will you hold onto Amanda while I get two towels to dry them off with�? He smiles and says, �Sure�. So she walks over and grabs two towels. She picks Amanda up then dries her off as Philip picks Blake up and dries him off. They quickly go over to the changing table because Philip knows exactly what�ll happen if he doesn�t have a diaper on Blake. They lay both babies on the changing table then get them dressed. Philip puts Blake in a light blue one- piece outfit that snaps at the crotch. Chloe puts Amanda in a pink one-piece outfit that snaps at the crotch. Philip holds onto both of them as Chloe puts everything they need in the diaper bag.

Chloe picks Amanda up while Philip picks Blake up then they put them in the bassinet long enough to get dressed. Chloe puts on a really beautiful fitted Hawaiian dress then walks over to the mirror and says, �I can�t believe it! It fits just like it did before I got pregnant�. Philip smiles and says, �Dr. Campbell says you�re one of the lucky women whose skin just seems to go right back to the way it was before you got pregnant�. Chloe says, �I�m so glad. I was afraid I�d have a lot of loose skin that no amount of exercise would get rid of�. He walks over to her and says, �Even if you did Baby, I�d love you. I�ll love you forever no matter if you�re thin or if you put on weight. You�re my soulmate�. She kisses him and says, �And I feel the same way about you Hubby. I sure love you�.

He kisses her then says, �Well I�m gonna wear that blue Hawaiian shirt that matches the material on your dress and a pair of Khaki shorts then a pair of sandals�. So he pulls his towel off and Chloe can�t help but stare. Her heart is racing and when he turns around she says, �All I can says is�tonight Hubby I�m gonna explore every inch of your body�. His heart starts racing and he says, �Ooh I can�t wait�.

He�s now dressed then they put little booties on Blake/Amanda then gently brush the little bit of hair they have left on their heads. Philip takes Blake and the diaper bag while Chloe takes Amanda and they head out the door. Philip has already put the stroller in the Suburban then places Blake in his car seat and secures him in it while Chloe does the same with Amanda. Philip opens the door for Chloe and she hops in. He hops in the drivers seat then they make their way to the Dr.�s office. ~*~*~*~*~*~

Philip gets out and opens Chloe�s door for her. He takes the stroller out then goes over and takes Blake out of his car seat while Chloe does the same with Amanda. They put them in the stroller then Philip pushes it while Chloe holds onto his arm. They walk into Dr. Campbell�s office and Kathy, the receptionist, walks over to them and says, �Oh my God! They are sooo cute Philip/Chloe. Did you remember to bring pictures of them for our wall and Dr. Campbell�s album�? Chloe laughs and says, �Did he ever! You should see how many he�s taken�. Kathy laughs and says, �Well that�s kind of typical you know. Why don�t the two of you take a seat and Dr. Campbell will see you in about 5 minutes�? Philip says, �All right�.

So he/Chloe sit down while everyone in the office tells them how cute the twins are. One woman is reading the �Basic Black� magazine and looks at the cover and says, �Oh my goodness! I thought you guys looked familiar. You�re the couple on the front of this magazine aren�t you�? Chloe says, �Oh..um yeah. I forgot all about posing for those pictures. Can I see the magazine�? She says, �Yeah�. So Chloe looks at it and says, �Boy I sure got big didn�t I�? The lady says, �You�re absolutely beautiful and so is your hubby. And now look at the two of you. And your twins are just adorable�.

Philip/Chloe are glowing and are very proud of their babies. Cindy, one of Dr. Campbell�s nurses comes out and calls their names. They get up then follow her into Dr. Campbell�s office. Cindy says, �You guys have been on the cover of the past 2 issues of the �Basic Black� magazine, haven�t you? You looked really great�. Before they have a chance to respond, Dr. Campbell walks over to them and says, �I agree with Cindy. What a beautiful couple the two of you are. Oh and little Blake/Amanda are sooo adorable and look like both of you�. Chloe/Philip look at one another and he says, �Yeah that�s what we�ve been saying lately�.

Dr. Campbell says, �Well let�s go into the examining room and I think I�ll give you your check-up first Chloe�. Chloe says, �All right�. So they go into the room then Cindy gives Chloe a gown to put on. She does then Cindy has her step on the scale. She says, �Oh my goodness Chloe. You haven�t even gained a pound. In fact you�ve lost 5 lbs. from the first time we saw you ". Chloe says, �Thank goodness�. Cindy has her sit on the edge of the examining table while she takes her blood pressure and checks her pulse rate.

Dr. Campbell has Chloe lie on the table on her back then does her exam. She�s finished and says, �Well Chloe, everything looks great. Have you had any trouble with the birth control pills I gave you�? Chloe says, �No, not at all�. Dr. Campbell says, �Well I�m going to go ahead and tell you that it is perfectly all right to make love now�. Chloe says, �I was just gonna ask you that. Thanks for letting us know�. She says, �Do you have any more questions"? Chloe says, No! Shesays, "Well then, why don�t you get dressed and we�ll give these precious twins of yours their first check-up�? Chloe gets up off of the examining table then puts her dress back on.

So Dr. Campbell says, �Well Daddy, why don�t you pick little Miss Amanda up and lets see how much she weighs�? So he gives Amanda to Cindy and she puts her on the scale. She says, �Well it looks like she weighs 8 lbs. 2 ozs. so she�s gained 2 lbs. 2 ozs.�. They check her length and she says, �Well she�s 21 inches long so she�s gained an inch. Dr. Campbell gives her the complete check-up the says, �Well Mom/Dad she�s doing just fine so if you�d like you can put her clothes back on then I�ll give little Blake his exam�. So Philip says, �Baby, I�ll get her dressed�. Chloe smiles and says, �Thanks Hubby�. Dr. Campbell says, �Chloe not only is your Hubby very handsome, but he�s got to be the sweetest one I�ve ever seen�. Chloe looks at him then smiles and says, �He sure is. I wouldn�t trade him for anything�.

Philip�s face is red then Dr. Campbell says, �And he blushes easily too. Uh well, let�s see how much this little guy weighs now�. So Cindy puts Blake on the scale and Dr. Campbell says, �Well he weighs 10 lbs. 8 � ozs. so he�s gained 2 lbs. 6 � ozs.�. She measures his length and says, �Well it looks like he�s 22 inches long so he�s gained an inch since birth�. She continues with his exam then says, �Well, it looks like this little guy is as healthy as his little sister is. You can get him dressed now�. So Chloe gets him dressed and Dr. Campbell says, �I want you to keep doing what you�re doing and we�re not going to add any solid food to their diets until later. They�re doing fine and it appears you have enough breast milk for the two of them. I need you to bring them in for their 2 month shots in a couple of weeks�.

Philip says, �We�ll be leaving for the mainland on the 17th because we have to do a photo shoot in Salem for �Basic Black� now that the babies are here. So my question to you is: Is it all right to travel with them now�? Dr. Campbell says, �Of course it is. The only reason I wouldn�t want you to travel with them is if I had given them their 2 month shot today. But since we�re not doing that for another two weeks everything is fine�. Philip says, �Thanks Sarah�. Chloe says, �Yeah thanks for everything�. She says, �Now before you go I need to know if you brought some pictures for my wall and my album�?

Chloe says, �Oh my God! You�re not gonna believe how many he has with him�. Philip smiles then takes out a whole bunch of pictures and places them on her desk. They look at them and Dr. Campbell says, �Can I pick as many as I want�? Philip says, �Oh yeah. We have a bunch of duplicates for the grandparents and our friends, and besides I can have more made very easily�. So she picks out quite a few and says, �It was really hard to choose but I�m going with these. Thanks�.

Cindy comes into the room again and says, �Dr. Campbell, Mrs. Tanaka is really close to delivering and they need you ASAP�. So she says, �Well I need to go you two. Take care and have a great trip to the mainland and I�ll see you in two weeks�. So they say their goodbyes then Philip places Blake/ Amanda in the stroller then they leave. They stop at the receptionist�s desk and Kathy says, �Let�s see�I have Monday the 29th at 10:00 AM. Is that a good time for you�? Chloe looks at Philip and he says, �That sounds good�. Kathy gives them a card with the date and time on it and says, �Well you two take care and we�ll see you on the 29th�. They say their goodbyes then Philip pushes the stroller while Chloe walks arm in arm with him to the Suburban. The babies are placed in their car seats then Philip opens the door for Chloe then he hops in and they head home. ~*~*~*~*~*~

Chloe moves over close to Philip and lays her head on his shoulder. He smiles then kisses her on the forehead. He says, �I love you Mrs. K�. She says, �And I love you Mr. K�. He says, �What do you say we go visit Dad/Mom since it�s lunchtime, then after we eat you can express some breast milk into some bottles for the twins while they�re with Grandma/Grandpa�? She says, �That sounds like a good idea but I feel like we�re abandoning our little �punkins�.

Philip says, �I know sweetheart. I kind of feel the same way but it�s really good for them to get used to being with others and you know they�ll be in good hands�. Chloe smiles then says, �I know you�re right, it�s just gonna be so hard to leave them for the first time. If I cry please don�t laugh at me�. He says, �Baby, you know I would never do that, and besides, I may be doing that myself�. ~*~*~*~*~*~

Philip pulls into the drive and they�re immediately met by Craig/Kate who�ve been out for their walk. Kate says, �I�m so happy to see you guys�. She opens one door of the Suburban while Craig opens the other and they take the babies out of their car seats. Philip looks at Chloe and they both laugh. Craig is holding Blake while Kate has Amanda in her arms. They are talking baby talk to them and head into the house without saying another word to Philip or Chloe. Philip says, �Hey what about us�? Kate looks back and says, �Well come on in and we�ll have some lunch�. So Philip gets the diaper bag out of the truck then takes Chloe�s hand then they make their way into the house.

Blake/Amanda have been rocked to sleep by Craig/Philip then placed in the bassinet in the great room, which is close to the table. Chloe/Kate have everything on the table and they sit down to eat. Philip holds Chloe�s hand while they eat spaghetti and meatballs. Chloe gives Philip her meatballs and he kisses her. Craig says, �Well how did the check-ups go�? Chloe says, �Well Blake gained 2 lbs. 6 � ozs. and is now 22 inches long, and Amanda gained 2 lbs. 2 ozs. and is now 21� long. Dr. Campbell says they are doing just fine and she thinks I�ll have enough breast milk for the two of them. We have to take them for their first shot on the 29th of this month, which is only two weeks away�.

Kate says, �So it�s all right for them to travel now, right�? Philip says, �Yeah. She just told us that after their first shot they shouldn�t travel because you never know how they�ll react to the shot�. Kate says, �Well good, because we need to be in Salem by Wednesday morning so we need to leave here by noon tomorrow�. Chloe says, �Do you know how many days this will take�? Kate says, �Hopefully just the one day then we�ll stay an extra day or so leaving you time to visit your friends and for us to show off our precious Blake/Amanda to everyone in town�. Craig says, �Well I definitely want to take them to University Hospital. Everyone will be sooo happy to see them�.

They continue talking for a while then Chloe says, �Well, will it be all right with the two of you if we leave Blake/Amanda here this afternoon and then all night�? Craig says, �Do you even need to ask beautiful daughter of mine? Of course you can leave them here. I promise that your Mother/I will spoil them rotten�. Chloe/Philip laugh then Chloe says, �Well I guess I�d better get busy filling some bottles for you. It may take me a little time you know�. Philip gets up then pulls her chair out for her. She says, �I�ll be back as soon as I�m finished�. Philip says, �Baby, just give me a yell if you need anything�. She says, �All right Hubby�. She leaves.

Philip says, �Thanks again you two for doing this�. Craig says, �THANK YOU SON! We�ve been dying over here waiting for you guys to ask us to babysit�. Philip says, �Well I figured Chloe needs some pampering because she certainly deserves it. You know I was gonna surprise her but she came up with the same idea I did. But don�t expect her to be able to leave Blake/Amanda without crying because we all know she�s gonna do it, and I�ll probably be doing it as well�. Craig says, �Hey that�s normal. You guys have spent 9 months waiting for them then 6 weeks of taking care of their every need 24/7�. Kate says, �But you know they�re in good hands and we want the two of you to spend some quality time together�.

Chloe walks back into the room with 2 large bottles and says, �Well I have 4 others in the refrigerator at home. Do you think 6 will be enough�? Craig says, �To tell you the truth I think you need to wait a while then try to express some more because we�ll have them until morning. I�d hate to have to call you guys in the middle of the night and ruin your evening together�.

Chloe says, �Well maybe if we sit here for a while I�ll have more milk�. Philip gets up and says, �How about if we leave Blake/Amanda here with Grandpa/Grandma while we take quick walk along the beach and maybe by then you�ll have some more milk. We can also stop by the house and get those 4 bottles and the rest of the clothes they�ll need until we pick them up in the morning�? Chloe says, �That sounds like a good idea Hubby�.

Craig says, �Sounds good to us. We�ll see the two of you when you get back�. Chloe walks over to a sleeping Blake/Amanda and has tears in her eyes. She kisses them on their cheeks then says, �Mommy/Daddy will be right back. We love you�. Philip kisses them and also tells them he loves them and has tears in his eyes as well. Philip holds his arms out and says, �Baby come get in your spot so I can just hold you for a few minutes�. She does then he wraps his arms around her and holds her tight.

She looks up and into his eyes then says, �I love you Hubby�. He says, �And I love you sweetheart. Now why don�t we take that walk�. She says, �All right�. Philip says, �Dad..Mom�we�ll be back after while�. Craig/Kate says, �Don�t worry about a thing�. So Chloe takes Philip�s hand then they walk out the back door then take their shoes off and leave them inside Craig/Kate�s yard. ~*~*~*~*~*~

As they�re walking hand-in-hand along this long, beautiful stretch of beach Chloe leans back and says, �I just love the sun coming down on my face and the cool breeze rushing across it. I love it here Hubby. I can�t imagine living anywhere else�. Philip says, �I love it here but I can�t imagine living here without the most precious woman in the world�. She stops then wraps her arms around his neck and says, �God I love you Mr. K�. We�ve been through so much together and no matter what has happened you�ve always been by my side every step of the way. I could never have asked for a better husband, Father of our children, a better friend, or a better lover than you. You are the best you know". She kisses him then says, "I love you Hubby".

He looks into her eyes and says, �And I love you Baby. You're the best wife, Mother of our twins, my very best friend, and when we make love well...words can't describe that...We are truly soulmates.
