Sister Norma Overton gave her
presentation on her ancestor, Gilbert, G. Bailey, who enlisted at age 35
in the 6th MI Cavalry as a farrier. She showed several
pictures, documents, and artifacts (including his watch) and read
excerpts from several letters. He is buried in Oakwood Cemetery in Grand
Rapids. It was a very interesting presentation. |
