The Allied Orders of the G.A.R. in Grand Rapids, Michigan, hosted a
booth at this year's Carnival at the Grand Rapids Home for Veterans.
This day draws hundreds of people (members and their
families) who participate throughout the day.
Around 50 booths, set up by many organizations, offered
games and prizes. Our booth provided a simple game for the veterans and
their families. Anyone who played received a prize.
The Women's Relief Corps, The Daughters of Union Veterans of the Civil
War and The Sons of Union Veterans of the Civil War worked this booth
together under the banner of Allied Orders.
