After we finished our shopping in Heidelberg we started the long drive
to Paris. During this drive we saw the beautiful French country side. We
arrived in Paris late that evening and we took a five hour drive in Paris
trying to find our hotel. During this five hour episode we actually saw
more of Paris then we did while sight seeing. We finally found our hotel
and got checked in. The next morning we started visiting all of the major
tourist attraction in Paris
. This tour included the Eiffle Tower,
The
Louvre ,
Notre-Dame
and a cruise down
the Seine River. After we completed our tour of Paris we started
the drive to Lyon. We spent the night in Lyon and arrived in Monte
Carlo the next afternoon.
Due to shortage of time we only stayed in
Monte
Carlo long
enough to take a train tour in the principality of
Monaco
. This tour showed all of the main
tourist attractions in Monaco. After we completed the train tour we immediately
went to the Italian Border and arrived in the Italian Riviera by mid evening.
Everything went smoothly here. We checked in to our hotel and then went
to one of the local Pizza parlors for dinner. That night we quickly
learned the Italian way of eating Pizza .
