LUMBER

Kersten Lumber Co sells a wide range of hardwood and softwood. In 1995 over 6 million board feet of lumber was cut, including Hard Maple, Basswood, Red Oak, Soft Maple, Ash, Birch, Cherry, Aspen, Pine, Elm, Butternut, Bitternut, White Oak, Beech. Hard Maple makes up the largest percentage, along this Basswood, Red Oak, Soft Maple and Ash make up about 65% of our footage. All of which could be made into paneling along with a few other species.

We have two Dry Kilns and can do custom drying.
Lumber can be ordered by the truck load or by the piece (Depending on the species being cut) Pallet lumber is also sold.
