To dear Mrs Bharti Shah and Friends in India,
I will be talking about an AUSSIE B-B-Q.
An AUSSIE B-B-Q is when your Mum or Dad cook some food on a hot plate outside. We cook chicken, sausages and meat. Then your Mum or Dad will cook it for an hour or two. Then you will make some salads to have with your chicken sausages and meat.
Then your Mum or Dad will put it on the table and then family and friends will come and eat at the table with you.
After you finish you may play some games.
Then one of your friends may stay the night and sleep over your house with you.
Then the B-B-Q is over.

Dear Mrs Bharti Shah and class,
Hi, do you know what a B.B.Q is? I bet you don't. Now I will tell you about it.
We have this when we have a celebration for birthdays, Christmas, Easter, Mother's Day and Father's Day things like that.
We can have games like playing in the pool.
On the B.B.Q you cook things like sausages we also eat salad.
We have relatives come over to sleep for the night and maybe go home the next day. We sit at the table and have drinks and celebrate the day.

Dear Friends
I would like to tell you about our B-B-Q. We have a B-B-Q for special celebrations or just for dinner.
B-B-Q's have a brick or metal bottom. The B-B-Q can be used by gas or fire. We use a B-B-Q for cooking our food.
We cook on the B-B-Q salad, meat and sausages.

To our friends,
I would like to tell you about the great Aussie B.B.Q .
With a B.B.Q we have meat , salad, drinks.
We celebrate birthdays, Christmas, Easter, Mother's Day, Father's Day, Anniversaries, Christenings, Special events and New Year.
Sometimes we might go in a pool, play games, have people sleep over, play on computers, play music on the radio, give people some presents, watch fireworks, go for treasure hunts, watch TV, play dress-ups, have family, friends and guests.
We eat food when it is time for dinner.
We have pillow fights when people sleep over.

we have B-B-Q son birthdays Mothers day and fathers day. I like having them on Christmas a lot.
We invite lots of relatives. Sometimes when the football is on we get the TV and put it on. When we have children over we wait for the barbecue and play but I watch the football instead.
We have a BBQ on our birthdays we sometimes get clowns to come over and play games.
At Christmas we have a BBQ at my Uncles house. We have eggs too on the BBQ.

Dear Mrs. Bharti Shah and class,
We have a great Aussie tradition over here in Australia. It is the great Aussie barbecue.
At a barbecue you have food such as, salad, meat and sausages. We also have drinks at a barbecue.
We have them for celebrations such as birthdays, Christmas, Easter, Mothers and Fathers Day, Anniversaries, Christenings, New Year and at other times.
We sometimes have pillow fights and sleep overs after a barbecue.
Barbecue is pronounced Bar-B-Q.
A popular way to have fun is to play music, go in the pool, play games, play on the computer, dress-up and have a treasure hunt.
The friends you might invite are relatives or friends. On special occasions you might hire a clown or have fireworks.

Hello Keypals,
Thank you the last letter you sent us.
We have some information about Australian grown Mangoes.
Australia's mango trees can grow up to 10 metres tall.
The mango tree that is mainly grown in Australia is the common mango which is a coastal variety grown from seeds. The types of mangoes which are grown in Bowen are the common mangoes and the apple mango which is smaller then the common mango.
Some of the named varieties include Kensington Pride, Zill, Haden, Palmer, Carrie and Kent.
The mango trees fruit their heaviest crop in December to January. Mangoes grow best in coastal districts of New South Wales and warm inland districts such as the Murray River Valley.
Waiting for your reply,
